Madsen to QPR for £3million, with one Twitter account claiming Coventry didn’t actually bid.

Shame we didn’t sign Burrows from Posh but I guess the price was too high. Kyprianou is out injured and Posh made him their captain.

Can’t say I am to bothered the bits I have seen of him he wouldn’t improve us much and Peterborough always want loads of money.
Exactly my opinion. I’d be happy to take him on a free or from a club that needed urgent funds so you could get decent value.
I wouldn’t be after any Posh players really. Value tends not to be great.
To be clear, I rate EMC and Burrows, but feel we overpaid for him and Shef Utd overpaid for Burrows.
I also rate Kitching, but feel Barnsley pulled our pants down knowing we were desperate.

The only team that currently look world beaters are Burnley. Lets stop panicking, there are supposed bigger teams in this league with greater squad issues than us, take Leeds as an example, QPR were tipped to go down and they came back from 2 down at Sheffield UTD who are tipped for autos. This squad will make top 6 if we play a settled pair of centre-halves rather than rotate in that position. If we do get a CDM before the window closes that strengthens us in front of them so no need for panic. Across the back as it stands the issue is right back not centre half. Stop being bedwetters people FFS.
Although they won scored 5 on Saturday, they only had 5 shots on target and finished the game with an XG of 0.8!!!

They did look decent against Luton though.

Burroughs loan to Kilmarnock for a season suggests a RB must be on the way in. Also, we have been linked with various good European CDMs so my guess is a CDM is also happening behind the scenes. MR and Austin tend to find the right players so let's trust the next ones will be great too.

Is this one of them?

Would be very strange as he's a striker
I'd be quite happy with one or two out of the door in the next week. Collins and Palmer for me to help raise some funds and or wages. I like Tavares but maybe he will fall just short and would be a good pick up for a league 1 or 2 side. If we are to get a new CH in which I would be happy about then cut our losses on Kitching and do a one in one out there.

We still don't need one

We have Simms, BTA, and Haji can play there (not very well) If push comes to shove

I think we probably do tbh, if we're looking at succession planning then he fits the mould. Likely Simms will leave if we don't get promoted, gives him a year to get used to style of play and upto standard, as long as we aren't taking money from other positions, then it seems good to me.

All well.and good succession planning but when the defence have been gash for months and we have a gaping hole in CM without Sheaf I'd argue we need to sort that first

I fully agree, which is why I said as long as we aren't taking money from other positions.

I would imagine Mark Robins would like to play a settled pair of centre-halves if he could find a pair good enough.

1 loan / 2 permanent possible. Keep an eye on outgoings though, this will give more of an idea. A lot relies on movement. The last week is always a bit wild. I'm optimistic.
Any noise about any of our big guns being linked with moves away ? I was expecting to see some rumours about MVE or Haji after Friday
