All he had to do was behave and not be controversial. Was that really too much to ask?

No idea what he's done, but if he's been sacked, you have to assume there is more than sufficient evidence against him.
Can't see where he can go from here now. Would football have him back in a coaching role somewhere?

Yeah. He seemed to be a little bit outraged at the accusation at first didn't he. Obviously more accusations have come in and now I guess his solicitor has told him he hasn't got too much of a leg to stand on and should issue an apology.

Sounds very much like he's been given a talking to doesn't it. Can never get my head round why anyone, let alone someone in his position, would pursue someone who isn't interested.
Even if you put aside the fact he's got his own family surely as 'famous bloke of the telly' with a fair bit of cash in the bank its not that hard to find someone who is a willing participant.

He claimed nothing physical ever happened but he still feels like he cheated on his wife (who he did say he had "let down"). I suspect you could have got away with a few jokey, "racey" texts to women in the office a few years back, provided you didn't cross the line into pursuing them. Nowadays, it's harassment, unless it is reciprocated. Is that what he meant by "two sides to the story", i wonder?

Edwards got a pay rise while he was suspended, what has Jenas actually done wrong to get sacked so quick, I'm sure we'll find out soon enough
