It’s almost as if the signing of Bassette has absolutely no bearing on whether we bring in a midfielder or not…

We haven't brought in a midfielder, and we're playing like we don't have a midfield. And this is an actual league game, you know the ones where you can win points which get added to your total at the end of the season.

People on here abusing players. He could stand in West Super Mare and he'd be onside.

Don't be surprised, 8 fouls against 2 today. I wouldn't ask which was it went because everyonne in the ground knows it.
The one against Sakamoto on the halfway line when we could’ve broke was an absolute joke of a decision, completely bailed them out

I actually think we should go 3-5-2 second half.
Dovin
Thomas Lati Binks
MVE Eccles Allen Dasilva
Rudoni
Simms Wright

Looks to have more balance?

Just seen the replay.

That's clearly offside and obstructing the keeper? He's between his legs and looking up at dovin.

We don't get given them.

We really have to get over this mentality of questioning referees. We’ve been really really poor and have got what we deserved after 45 minutes
Bristol City go down at every touch and we've been really poor aren't mutually exclusive standpoints.

But I'm not arguing that that's been anything other than a completely gutless display and deserving of absolutely fuck all.

Eccles and Torp don't look anywhere close to the standard.

We've had issues on not closing or marking the edges of the box from corners. Have we not learned from these let offs in the previous games

Rudoni not been great but I’d say Torp has been the worst for me. Not quite living up to expectations at the moment.

There’s a real theme with Robins “first half” ball though. For a while now we seem to play much more passively in the first half and it keeps costing us.

Dovin could have stepped away from him. He also was too busy wrestling some other guy who stood on him. He’d never have got to the ball and to be offside he has to be obscuring his vision.

It would help if for once he saves by catching the ball

If it's offside, it's offside.

Set up the same as stoke and getting the same result ? Always going to struggle in midfield until sheafs back, has to choose from Eccles or Allen says it all,

Allen for Torp (at least Eccles can make a tackle)
Palmer for Rudoni
EMC for Saka
Da Silva for Bidwell (he's been booked is the reason)
I think Palmer in but not for Rudoni. We have to play both of them in this match I think and forget the like for like sub pattern. Saka is lacking service. Not his fault.

Not good enough all over. Wright doing well but Eccles, Torp, Rudoni not in the game. Defence fragile and allowing Armstrong to bully us. Not convinced by dovin either.

Eccles gets the prize for the worst player for us

No, because Haji has got their right back so we need to keep using it as an outlet. We need the midfield 3 whoever they are to just fucking work harder and take part in the game.

We’ve been so poor once again, looking like a load of salmons flapping around at times. No composure in midfield as usual, passing back whenever we eventually make a decent move forward, and we really can’t seem to deal with even a half-decent press, it’s getting a bit worrying tbh.

There’s still time but it’s this sort of performance that’s starting to make me doubt we’ll finish top 6 this season.
