Our midfield looked like their were all waiting at the bottom of the gallows. They know sheaf will replace one of them and instead of putting in a shift to fight for a place they all looked they were sulking at the thought of being dropped. Palmer should have been on at half time. When things are obviously going so shit why wait another 10 mins in the hope its going to improve.

Wright could at least beat a man , Clark got beat for pace by their centre half, when he should of been away , hope I’m wrong but he doesn’t look championship standard to me

Have to be honest here, but you just need to give it more time before you bring out the “not championship standard” card. It’s very early days, see how he’s doing after 10 or 15 games. It was him buying himself half a yard of space that created our goal.

He needs more support. Quick feet and trickery are no use when you have no options and get doubled all the time.

Don’t necessarily disagree but some players get stick, some don’t.

He gave the ball away several times. Gave silly fouls away and offered nothing.

Last two games opposition players have swung arms at the heads of our players and got away with it. Today we conceded a goal which should not of stood.

But god we were awful but the bench we have makes a difference. We didn't deserve anything but we take it forget it and move on.

Obviously shit performances need addressing but a point away to a difficult side when you’ve played shit is decent tbf. We can appear so soft yet grind out a result. (Yeah I know we lost at Stoke)

It really is a CM signing, Sheaf back and tweaks needed and we’ll be good.

Well I said I'd be disappointed with a point, and that's exactly how I feel.

A piss poor first half cost us the chance of a win, Torp and Eccles were fucking woeful, we know we miss Sheaf, but we have a week to add a midfielder who actually has a fucking clue!

On a plus point Palmer took his goal well, and Dovin was probably m.o.m just ahead of MvE in what was a forgettable game.

Credit to the SBA great support as ever.

Will gladly take that away draw, Bristol should be should be up there as well. Both had chances to win it. We don't look to be totally in sync up front yet, really missing sheaf in the middle just to get on the ball more and more protection at the back. I don't think we're playing torp in his best position either and he's not the type of player to impose himself on a game in the middle which is what we've been missing in both away games so far. Decent point on the road and showed a lot stronger in 2nd half, so not the worst.

I think Tats is a home player, I am another that isn’t sure on EMC he reminds me of Traore who was at wolves all muscle. BTA if he doesn’t score soon could be one that goes a long time without a goal.

Give the ball to Simms in areas he can do something with it

mate, not sure why this is bothering you so much, you made a silly comment and got called out so you have to resort to threats of violence? and towards a fan of the same team too…? it’s all a little weird isn’t it

Terrible performance, really didn't deserve anything from the game. Some really really poor performances all over the park.

I know it's early doors but form the all the games we've played and not just today, I really don't get BTA. Seems to work really hard but technically pretty poor and has little composure.

Fair play to Palmer for the goal, great finish.

On a side point I wonder if we're struggling with the 12:30 kick offs. We have been poor in both of them so far. Perhaps we haven't got our preparation and fuelling right, as the players looked off the pace from the start.
Agree with that last paragraph, the players look as enthused as the early kick offs as me.

He didn't even look like he wanted to take a man on at all
He does look like he's lost some confidence since coming back. The was a bit of his old form against Oxford, but that's been it, really; not today and not in the first game.

But maybe that's to be expected, it was a hell of an injury to come back from.

Things I learned from this game:
1) Refs continue to be shite. Their goal should not have been allowed as their player on the ground was clearly impeding Dovin.
2) Need a midfielder signed in this window pronto!!
3) Torp can fuck off. Eccles played better in the second half after Palmer came on. May need to play Palmer and Rudoni together.
4) Wright please braid your hair!!
5) Da Silva in for Bidwell next match
6) Dovin please try to catch shots if you can.
7) I don't know if we are playoff team. We have lacked any presence in midfield for several games.
Add Sheaf in place of Torp, and a decent new midfielder in place of Eccles and that team will be top 6.

Happy for the point after that showing, but not losing that game has the potential of papering over the cracks, we need to stop buying forwards now and get some fighters in the middle that can pass a simple ball.

Dovin MOM for me ,Oggy ironically last night on the phone said keepers are coached to punch the ball away on a lot of occasions from shots & crosses , as the modern balls are lighter.

If you were man enough you’d take Evo up on his offer and call him names to his face, else that makes you a keyboard warrior!

Please get fit and ready soon Mr Sheaf, you’re needed badly.
I really wonder if Dovin is going to be a site better than what we have too. Good shot stopper but doesn’t catch the ball and doesn’t dominate his area at all.
Early days and I don’t think Robins even knows for sure what is going to actually work well regularly.
