Time Bandits on Apple was pretty good. Used to adore the film when it was released.

Not quite got the same humour - which is no surprise - but still enjoyed it.
Time Bandits was a good family watch, shame stuff like that usually gets trashed in the press by people too precious about the original, missing the point it's an update for a new audience. I thought it paid enough homage to the original and had enough new ideas to be worth doing

Walking Dead: Darryl Dixon is good
Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live was poor.

I quite liked The Ones who Live - but anything after the final 3 series of TWD would feel like Citizen Kane.
I liked Daryl Dixon BUT it seemed to be a massive rip off of “The Last of Us”; grouchy hero embarks on unlikely journey in order to save special post apocalypse child!!!!

Not sure what I’m making of Dead City.

Got to applaud your heroic sticking power!

For me TWD is a prime example of a network not allowing a show to end. Just felt they did zombies to death then lurched from one increasingly stupid human villain to the next. They would add a cringe 'artsy' episode in like Carol dismantling a house to find a mouse or some shite. Shame as the first few seasons were good.

Can’t argue w that. In the end I stuck it out simply because I knew it was coming to an end.

It wasn’t quite in the category of “Lost” though. I now resent every second of my life spent watching that stupid programme as the big reveal was the answer I had assumed to be the case after watching 3 episodes.

Yeah that's what lost me. They would find a safe place, build a community and then somebody would leave a gate open. Rinse and repeat.

Shaun of the Dead is back in cinemas soon for the anniversary although surely she’s at least seen that one

Yeah she’s seen all the Cornetto Trilogy, just had never heard of Spaced. But she’s foreign so wouldn’t have got c4, just movies in cinemas.

Still not sure what I think of The World's End. Loved the first two

Sadly not a patch on the first 2 films in the Cornetto Trilogy.

Much harder to call which of the first two is better though.

New season of Only Murders In The Building out.

Love the show. Just something warm and familiar and quite old fashioned about it. It just works and I love Steve Martin and Martin Short and Meryl Streep anyway, so it was always going to be a winner for me.

Not always laugh out loud funny, but if you are not laughing, you are usually smiling, and then combined with the murder mystery element, it appeals on that level too

Not everyone's cup of tea, but I love it.😍

Tend to agree, Shaun of the Dead is a great film, but Sargent Angel dropkicking an old lady in the face takes it.

I didn't get on with Hot Fuzz as much as I did the other two, but I've seen the others more thanks to the various ITV channels always seeming to have them on so I probably need to give Hot Fuzz another go.

I liked it so much better the second time I watched it.

In the 00s I when I followed WWF/WWE for 5 mins, I watched a good documentary called ‘Beyond the Mat’. McMahon was in it.
I seem to remember Mick Foley and a near destitute Jake ‘the Snake’ Roberts featuring a fair old bit.
Kind of a behind the scenes of WWF but also the less well known wrestling federations and wrestlers.
It was good and probably on YouTube by now.

Seeing as Netflix have now bought the rights to show all the wrestling next year, I'd be very impressed if it's not a puff piece.

Now Netflix has Brassic I have started watching that.

Looking forward to the new series of The Cleaner with Greg Davies.

Been watching some classic movies with my 12 year old Beverly Hills Cop and things of that vintage.

They were filming it as he announced his resignation
It'd be very interesting if they go into why he actually had to and all the allegations he's faced before, but I can't see them going full warts and all about a product they've just spent billions to own the rights to show. If they do it'd make for great viewing but if it was being made with his input I'm not convinced

Anyone watched Hundreds of Beavers? It's on Amazon Prime to rent.

Watched the trailer and it looks batshit crazy, but great fun. Won lots of awards.

Just wondered if anyone else had seen it.

Worth watching the trailer alone.

Rebel Ridge - Netflix

Rubbish title, great movie.

Just think of Rambo First Blood, but with a lot more brains and better acting.

Really recommend it

Just watching the first episode, looks like it's going to be a great series. What a cast, just gets better and better.
