am I the only one who thinks we are ok for signings. We haven’t lost one significant player. I wouldn’t even bat an eyelid if we didn’t sign anyone. Sheaf and torp in this league with Eccles as back up is decent.


even if we do have 2m or so in the pot what does that even get us? Nothing better than what we have. IMO

Honestly it’s a joke. This is why I can’t stand the PL. The bigger clubs with dirty money suppress everyone else because they can. Want their cake etc.

Would be good to set the lad up, no doubt. But he’d have a much better chance of making a name for himself here, rather than rotting in their U21’s and going on 10 different loans.

Makes you wonder if there’s any point in having an academy.

I know we were all in on Stamenic and that ballsed up because Red Star were playing silly buggers with us and that meant we lost out on Browne meaning we're under strength.

Also Vik and Hamer not moving has left a whole in the budget that we probably hoped/expected would come in and that has hampered our progress.

Come on though, we sold Hamer 12 months and 2 full (nearly) windows ago. How the fuck have we not bought in a similar style player?

I know Hamers don't grow on trees but we picked one up for a million quid a few years ago and they don't have to be the next £15m sale they just need to be a box to box midfielder.

Pull your fingers out.

100%. Been saying it for ages now. He needs to drop down to the Conference or League 2 and actually play football.

He has been mentioned on here.

The problem for me is Sheafs injury record. He generally misses at least 10 league games a season. No chance he plays all 43 remaining games and we’ve looked really average without him. I think another midfielder is a must

Mentioned him a fair while ago, no idea what price Düsseldorf would be after though.

That’s fine. But there’s been absolutely no rumour that we have any interest in him. He’s just as likely to sign as the other thousands of footballers all over the world. I was responding to if we had been linked with him
