Palmer leaving (11 Viewers)

I don't think he's going anywhere, Robins wouldn't let him leave knowing we'll have no decent player songs left.

He was our big summer signing the play off final year, on a free (Only summer signing) - shows how far we've come.

KP has been another good servant along the way. Just think it's naturally coming to close actually. Shame he likely won't fully unleash his max potential, but for anyone to say he's been poor or a letdown is wide of mark.

Wish him luck if he goes, but hopefully when it all shakes out tomorrow night at 11pm, we will look and think the squad is stronger.

One of those players who'll more than likely never unleash their max potential .
Good luck to him though.

He was not free and has been a huge let down as he has through his whole career

Robins clearly likes Palmer but his comments the other day were strange. + last year of his deal and from all accounts a high earner. I love KP and have defended him, but if it means we can bring in that CM, and maybe another then makes sense. Bassette's signing made it clear someone was going from those attacking players. Palmer is a brilliant option off the bench, impact sub. Hopefully Rodrigues can fill that role when he's fit.

I was assuming from the recent games that Tavares would be the one who is off soon

Get his agent on it is my advice, time to move on, no disrespect to the lad but we've used him enough and it is clear from the top that he's not what we need!

Hardly ever played 90 minutes, and you can count his good games on one hand.

It was between him and Allen for me who went out the door, so i can see this happening. Id say Qpr or Stoke could be landing spots s for Palmer

And the comments on here about him are exactly the same as the Bristol ones when he left them for us- one of those frustrating players with masses of talent but can’t stay fit or be consistent enough and now too old to respond to coaching probably . Still will remember him fondly and guaranteed to score against us.

I’d rather him stay, can change a game for sure but I do wonder if his rather feisty and impatient nature has dictated that he plays a more regular and guaranteed part in matches. If rumours are correct then the club may need to economise on his wages to facilitate any more incomings.

Said it before but if he *were* to leave Wrexham is his obvious destination. Think how many episodes Disney + can eke out of landing the mercurial international superstar.

Like Palmer, I’d rather see Allen or Eccles leave before him, just think it’s his style that annoys fans, can do something brilliant then something Sunday league, not consistent enough, Tuesday night pretty much summed his game up, frustrating, but hope he stays

If this rumour is true I see it as a positive. All the time he's been here the word inconsistent has followed him constantly.

As a club we're moving forward and can't carry passengers.

Underwhelming signing that as with every other club, never realised his potential with us. He’ll do a job for a lower Championship side.

that may well be true with contract negotiations not going anywhere but read between the lines as some won’t like full disclosure but something has happened to fast forward him moving
Could be something completely out of the ordinary like an enquiry to see if he's available but I suppose that wouldn't be sensational enough you 🤡

Training ground bust up?, unhappy with being left out of starting line up? Something along those lines I’d think with the timing of this one.

Robins remarks i would say come from a place of frustration. But more importantly and admittance that he will not improve or change. Robins cant ask players to work on all aspects of the game while saying but Kasey doesn't have too..

Writing was on the wall, nice fella from what im told but its not about that anymore with the club. I also believe he was told last week any previous offer was no longer on the table.

Be a shame if he left as shit as he is most of the time, he is unplayable against elite opponents and would actually be class in the prem.
His performance against wolves in the Fa cup was one of the best I have ever seen from a city midfielder, and I’ve been a season ticket holder for 30 years.

He really wouldn’t be class in the Premier League. He’s not even class in the Championship. History is full of players and teams who can raise their games in big occasions but consistency is what makes a player.
