The money they've been paid for Szmod won't be subject to any sanction though, so they'll be able to spend some at least.

If we could get him near his prime Norwich form who gives a fuck if he falls out with the management, not likely to be within the first season

He has potential, but might take a while to get up to speed as apparently he's been training with the kids since falling out with the management at Rangers.

I can see it making sense from MR point of view. He's younger and (will eventually be) fitter than Palmer, and he will be on a longer contract, and will hopefully have a point to prove.

But a Palmer replacement wasn't exactly what we were crying out for right now.
