We keep winning and playing like we are attendances are going to rise. A lot of people on here are a lot happier so expecting a bigger crowd now for Preston game 12k?

Can't believe we can't top 13,000 for the Preston game, I'm quietly hoping for a lot more to send the right signals to all interested parties.

It's about time the armchair supporters got behind
the team. We haven't hit this type of form for
years albeit in a lower division. 12,000 minimum
against Preston. Well done Mark Robbins and
all staff for giving us hope.

Why would people come flocking back, we are 13th in the table big deal. Fans dont come back to watch good football they will come back when we are challenging for 1st or 2nd its those big games people want to see.

we are 13th but making a charge for the play offs winning 7 of our last 9 games and scoring 13 goals in 4 away games, we've been absolutely smashing teams, thats why people would come back you dense little man.

ffs, make it easier to get to the ricoh,
oooh, i know let's have a train station there,
it is not rocket science
Yawn yawn fucking yawn. I live in the south of France. Every chance I get I fly in to watch city. Maybe 10 times a year and I can't afford to. It's I a fiver taxi from town centre. I'm sick to death of pricks like you.
If they played in cathedral lanes you'd have a moan.
c**t. Bore off

That's nothing, every week I fly on the back of a winged camel from Pretendland with my last shiney groat in my pocket leaving my 45 children in rags and starving that I may earn a supporter of the century badge

I think he means, should we draw and get a home fixture with Spurs, it'll be a sell out... which I agree with.

I also doubt we'd sell out in the Prem. Maybe for the first season, but we were struggling to fill HR before relegation. Then again, Premier League football was taken for granted by much of the support, including me, and I was a season ticket holder. Maybe this lengthy spell in the wilderness will entice should we return.

Yeh thats more like it. Would never see the stadium full unless we got to the prem or possible first or second in the championship. Coventry fans have been like this for years
All supporters are like this. Pompey were top flight 3 seasons ago, and their crowds have disappeared. Even in the top flight, look at the crowds of Sunderland and Wigan, not exactly spilling onto the ground. Fans will come when they come. How many ccfc supporters are out there who don't make it to games? And what's the ratio of hometown team supporters, and that wanker we all know who supports Liverpool or Manchester a&b from here?

So why are they not coming back, everything i said is correct. Hence the reason for the thread. Why are you saying "would" come back?

Sunderland have a stadium of 49k... You don't fill that week in, week out if you're not on a good streak!

Wigan have never had good crowds, they like their Ruby League better than football.

Football crowds are down big time not just at the Ricoh. Anyone watch the football leauge show on BBC StAndrews looked empty, massive gaps behind the goal and the stand by the lino. Also the riverside looked like it was played behind closed doors.

If CCFC keep winning the crowds will GRADUALY increase, we wont go from 10,000 to 32,000 because we have won 4-1 away.

It will take time and if we keep doing what we have been doing last few games people will come back as its all about the feelgood factor and the enjoyment of a regular winning team.

Dont forget many CCFC fans have been let down so many times over the years so may see the recent results as a flash in the pan. I dont, i see we are on the up and long may it continue. We need to be proud of CCFC again and i think the players are buying into that.

Me? I will be there Saturday to cheer the lads on as i think we have someone very special in Mark Robbins. Im so happy his hard work and dedication is starting to pay off.

The difference is! this time last year we were embroiled in a Relegation fight which we eventually lost, I never expected to see the Bky Blues Win at the Ricoh, or any other ground to tell the truth, goals were as rare as Hens Teeth, and sitting in the Ricoh had all the excitement of a picnic in a morgue.
It was a little surprising to see attendances as high as they were as we started the Season in the third tier of English Football, but the hard core of support held firm to their credit, and the away support has been amazing.
I believe we are on the verge of a major turn round on the field of play, which isn't just a flash in the pan, we are scoring goals with regularity, defending with a single mindedness not seen since the days of Killer and Peakie, and working for each other all over the pitch
So at a time when support will almost certainly swell, and attendances increase to maybe 15 to 20,000 if this run continues, why are our owners looking to downsize to smaller grounds, is it really about the rent, or as I have always insisted, sisu have neither the desire or ambition to carry out the pledge they made when they took us over, do they really want to own a successful club, its never looked that way to me, and for the five years they've owned us its been the most Traumatic, miserable, time for the fans in my near sixty years of being a supporter.
At a time, when it appears that Mark Robins is molding a team to be proud of, I Implore Sisu to take the generous offer on the table, before our team vanishes off the Radar for good.
