Hmm... Maybe. It sounded very plural and I am sure I read somewhere that the club rejected 3 bids on transfer deadline day. But maybeHe's on about Kasey Palmer

Not sure I agree with that in the context of the comments he made here and in other interviews. He talks about 'a number of people', being left with 'unhappy players' and talks about the need for players to go and 'work for the people who are paying their hard earned money to watch you' - feels like it is aimed at current employees. He is very complementary of KC's contribution in his time with us and makes it clear that he wasn't offering KC another contract so clearly was happy to see him go... There is obviously an element of frustration with KC's move being pushed through by player and agent but not buying it as being the sole cause of his rant.It clearly was aimed at palmer having a strop

His agent did exactly what I would expect an agent to do - get the best deal for his client. If we weren't going to offer Palmer another deal, but Hull are offering a 3 year (+1) deal it's an absolute no-brainer for Palmer. The question is, when did Palmer and his agent find out we weren't going to offer another deal?Defo Palmer, he’s basically trying to suggest his agent shouldn’t have been agitating a move as he still had a year left on his contract.
Palmer’s agent started agitating for this when he planted that bogus link to Norwich a while back. They think he’s worth more than he actually is and clearly we weren’t interested in the terms he wanted. I was wondering that too. Was he aware, for instance, that he would soon be leaving the club when celebrating his goal at Bristol City? His agent did exactly what I would expect an agent to do - get the best deal for his client. Bournemouth - Simms
PSV - MVE
Not sure who the 3rd is - maybe Reading for Tavares on loan or Sheaf - quite possibly
But that's him,who has a very laid back approach, this enables him to Excel at the top end of the pitch? The main thought I had around that interview was how many of these players actually want to fight to be in the starting lineup and how many are happy just to lean back into the squad?
I recall an interview with Wright where is seemed quite content with Robins just picking who he fancied from the squad for a particular game (him or not).
Also Robins saying 'you can't have too many strikers' really?

Or trot back to help out, but I don't think it's helpful to rip the squad apart ATM, lower expectations and take the pressure off them, get back in the groove! He needs to VLOOKUP occasionally
Luton for Sheaf. Southampton earlier in window.Bournemouth - Simms

If Luton didn’t tempt Sheaf in the Prem they certainly wouldn’t in this league.Luton for Sheaf. Southampton earlier in window.
Pitiful attempt by them.If Luton didn’t tempt Sheaf in the Prem they certainly wouldn’t in this league.
And if the option isn't there it's okay to PivotHe needs to VLOOKUP occasionally

Certainly not for the price, only about five teams could be considered to possibly be in the market, but not completely convinced, hell he could end up at MU for all we know? The reality is he was never going to the Premier League, despite some on here laughing at suggestions of anything other than that happening.
The reality seems to be that we did have offers from top flight clubs in the summer, as hard as it is for you to believe. You have it out for him like I do bringing everyone back for corners. The reality is he was never going to the Premier League, despite some on here laughing at suggestions of anything other than that happening.

That’s the kind of single issue obsession I can respect.
Unless I’m mistaken I’m sure there was genuine talk of an 8 figure bid in for him in the window just gone?Nah, I have it out for the runaway train of delusion, Brighton! No one from the PL put a serious bid in, that we know. I am going to struggle in dropping it as when I was doubtful about it in the first place it was perceived as an unpopular opinion and laughed at repeatedly. There were tons of people saying he was firmly going to the PL for 20-30 million (teams like Man Utd, Crystal Palace, and Brentford mentioned).
For the record I agree with you on the corner thing!

I think the gist was that we had rejected an 8 figure sum and it had come from more than one reliable source. As far as I am aware the only team interested were Luton (who aren't in the PL). If Southampton made a bid, it certainly wasn't anywhere near the bumper prices people were talking about. If anyone had bid 20 plus million, he would be gone. It seems to have been a case of our fans over-hyping from the get-go.
