Not ideal but it’s the situation we’re in and at this point it’s a bit of a no brainier.

His experience and leadership will add confidence and reassurance to the midfield, and most importantly it finally allows us to play with one 6 and two 8’s, which 100% suits our players better.

If James does come in, who would he be in place of? I'm assuning Eccles or Torp whilst Sheaf is out but which?

Someone's playing ITK again

he hasn't got a scooby what Matty James thinks, he was older so was never one of the ones he could offer free gig tickets to.

still if it helps him get through the day then he can crack on all he likes

As of 11.30am, Matty James is at the petrol station filling up his car for the long journey from Leicester to Coventry. He is awaiting a call from his agent if he needs to buy some Pringles for the gaffer (paprika flavour) and some Swiss chocolate for Duggy King. Conversations ongoing!

Has he signed yet? With our reported interest some other club will no doubt get in first with all the dithering going on

If Matty James has pac
Bags packed he’s only training at Leicester 😂
In the summer someone mentioned his name and I said 'I think we've passed the likes of Matty James' no disrespect to him he's a good midfielder, but it's a different situation now, I'd take him because we lack depth, experience there and he will be an astute signing.

However if he's got bags packed then he needs to know drugs ain't allowed at the club

Someone needs to show Doug the Brighton squad.

Sold young players for incredible profits over the last 3/4 years but have consistently had old experienced heads to help them along. Even on Saturday in the starting lineup they had:

Welbeck - 33
Milner - 38
Dunk - 32

James is exactly the type of player we need.

Could be a smart signing to get us through another window and give us someone that'll take responsibility on the pitch which is what we're missing. Makes sense.
