this is stage 1 - it's to see if people will change their habits and catch the bus

if they see enough interest the buses in the survey are still on the cards

If it's a freebie then I'm in, I used to park in Tesco's for the last few seasons but that is a nightmare now. The mrs has been dropping us off and we've been getting an Uber home. I'll definitely take up the free month, if they do put on free buses hopefully they leave early so we can have a drink! It will be like an away day going to the home games!!

It's a start. I may try using it to get back to town after the Swansea game.

Would still love them to provide a more direct route to the station but it may come.

It's a great idea. I can fully understand that this will be a thing for those that live in Cov as it would be too expensive to offer the service to those who live in other towns. Saying that, I could park by the train station and get the bus in and out, so might be useful.

Shame they couldn't do the radial routes, but a start, why have two based less than a mile apart?
it's the train station and the city centre. makes sense that those would be the pick up and drop offs

free to and from town or the station

pretty good

well, let's hope we all use as then they will likely roll it out wider
Can they get the radial routes organised in a week, why don't the companies table their schedule around this, don't care about it being free although the outward journey for me will be?

Well I guess they just have to tell the bus companies where they want to go as they'll just be hiring the buses

It's not a commercial tabled service

When i go and watch Everton I catch their free buses. It was great to start but a nightmare now as its been too successful and it takes hours to get away from Goodison Park. But fair play to the club for getting this started....Doug...please retake your seat on the team photo.

Great idea and amazed that its free. Only problem for me is I've already paid for a parking season ticket otherwise I'd definitely be making use of this.

There's a (council?) car park next to Central Six that isn't used evenings or weekends, could open that up for matches. There's the station car park, Grosvenor Road and the SkyDome all within walking distance as well.

They'll jack the parking prices won't they?

Quite funny having a new bus service that goes from one train station up to another train station that has a track connecting them… an improvement at least.
Another economic driver for a service required, wonder if the bodies behind it can make it happen?

Villa are restricting access to their car park outside Villa Park. Meanwhile we're putting on free bus services to home games.

Will certainly use them for the Swansea game. It means we get a free lift to and from town which saves £8 . Every little helps, thats nearly 3 pints in the Spoons 😉

You can do it for free from Warwick Torch using this scheme, via the University get the U1 or U2 on WM network, then into town and finally onto the arena. Will take just over 2 hours and a bit of an adventure, so I'd say at least an 8 can journey 🤣👍

I go on the bus to Nuneaton sometimes for work. Takes two and a half hours from Warwick! Don't mind though as I get "travelling time", so the day is basically gone! Went to Cov on the X17 on Friday for work too, an hour and twenty mins.
