Great memories, Great player. A true great and i will never forget then blistering runs.

Met him on a night out and said to him i thought he was a true CCFC great and how gutted i was when he left. He said he didnt want to leave and the chairman sold him:mad:

Former Coventry City footballer Peter Ndlovu is out of danger after surviving after a horror car crash which claimed the life of his brother.
Ndlovu, who also played for Birmingham, Sheffield United and Huddersfield during a 13-year career in England, was en route to play a friendly match for the Highlanders Legends team against Victoria Falls when the car he was travelling in, a BMW X5, struck a tree near Victoria Falls after a tyre burst.
His elder brother, Adam, also a former footballer who played for Zimbabwe, died in the incident near Victoria Falls, along with a female passenger.

Adam, 42, spent seven seasons playing in Switzerland representing SC Kriens and SR Delemont before moving to FC Zurich.
The younger Ndlovu, 39-year-old Peter, made over 400 appearances for Coventry City, Birmingham City and Sheffield United.
Close friend and former manager Winston Makamure updated the BBC on his condition today, saying the footballer was out of danger.

'He is now conscious and is communicating,' he said. 'He has internal injuries, head injuries, broken ribs and a broken leg.'

Peter Ndlovu was a favourite among Coventry City fans during the 90s. He scored 39 goals in 176 matches before leaving for Birmingham and then had a short loan spell at Huddersfield before joining Sheffield United.
Coventry City Football Club wrote on Twitter: 'All our thoughts and wishes go out to former Sky Blue Peter Ndlovu and his family. Keep strong Nuddy.'

A tweet from the Sheffield Unitd read: 'Our thoughts are with former player Peter Ndlovu, who has been critically injured in a car accident in his native Zimbabwe.'

Birmingham City F.C. also released a statement, which read: 'The thoughts of everyone associated with Birmingham City Football Club are with Peter Ndlovu and his family following news of a serious car crash in Zimbabwe. Peter was a very popular player during his time at St Andrew's and we hope he pulls through this difficult time.'
Former Birmingham co-owner David Gold tweeted: 'Peter Ndlovu is one of the nicest footballers I ever met. We are all thinking of you Peter, get well soon.'
Peter has been working as a coach for the Zimbabwe Young Warriors Under 23 team

Its a shame some of the younger fans wont remember him. He was my first City idol, I was amazed just by what he did in his warm ups, standing in the middle of the pitch doing kick ups and tricks, let alone his runs during the games. Great player, one of my all time faves. hope he gets better soon!

Im surprised how long ago he actually signed! Read somewhere that it was 1991, which would have made me 7. How long did he play for us? Im pretty sure he was still there when i got my first season ticket at about 14. Might be completely wrong here, was a long time ago! lol

I remember the first time I ever saw them play. John Sillett had brought both Peter and Adam over for a trial and they both had a run out in the reserves one Tuesday night. One played in the first half, and the other in the second half, but Peter really stood out right from the start. Great player for us.

PETER NDLOVU who remains in hospital keeps asking the whereabouts of his brother Adam who died in the car crash on Sunday when they were traveling together from a football tournament in the resort town of Victoria Falls.

The family is yet to inform him about Adam’s death fearing the recovering former Coventry City striker may be negatively affected.

This has forced the family to delay announcing the burial arrangements of the former Highlanders and FC Kriens striker.

Peter is still in the Intensive Care Unit at Mater Dei hospital but in a stable condition with (older brother) Madinda expressing confidence that his brother will pull through.

“We don’t have anything as yet because Peter, as he is lying on his hospital bed, is yet to know that Adam passed on,” said Madinda.

“He is still asking about Adam and as a family we have agreed not to let him know until maybe doctors have ascertained his mental preparedness for such tragic news.

“The boy went for a scan today (yesterday) to ascertain on any internal injuries and the doctors will inform us on their findings tomorrow (today) morning and after that we must be able to find a way forward.

“A specialist might be hired to relay the message in our presence.”

Last night the family held a meeting where they were expected to come up with a position on the best possible way of letting Peter know about the fate of his elder brother Adam.

“We will announce our position tomorrow (today) around mid morning,” said Madinda.

Last night a moving church service was held at Adam’s house, 14716 Imbabala Way, in Selborne Park where various soccer personalities were in attendance. More than 200 cars were parked as far as three streets away as people from across the society joined the Ndlovu family in mourning their son.

A security guard at Mater-Dei Hospital said dozens of fans on Sunday thronged the medical facility when news filtered through, that Peter had been admitted to the Catholic run institution.

“Doctors had to instruct security personnel to stop people from going through to the ward. Scores of fans set up a night vigil at the car park, waiting for news on his condition. I have never seen anything like it. Some people wept openly,” said the security guard.
