Exactly what I'm doing. There are people going to Watford and Leeds who aren’t going to this game. Like most of us, they disagree with the apparent significance and stupid pricing.

Anyone who's spending £70+ on going to Watford but won't pay £30 for this game is stupid

Funny that you mention rugby , reminds me of Wasps TBF!One-upmanship, clearly. It will always be a part of football and it was something that was missed during COVID.
'Limbs' comes under the same umbrella.
Football without it would be rugby or other boring sports being watched on telly.
Exactly what I'm doing.
Didn't the tickets for Watford come out before we knew about the spurs tickets ?Anyone who's spending £70+ on going to Watford but won't pay £30 for this game is stupid
Whatever the score is at Watford you’ll probably barely remember the game after a year or two. Why?
I'm (now) going both but if I could only choose 1,it would be Watford.
I'm far more interested in our league games than the Caraboa cup
Tbf it's probably not Doug directly, but the corporate feel of Coventry city these days?Fall on the sword and admit it’s hilarious levels of a businessman misjudging something.
Maybe for kids , but most of us have seen us beat spurs many times.Whatever the score is at Watford you’ll probably barely remember the game after a year or two.
Beat spurs and it will live long in the memory.

Ok grandad, we haven't played spurs for 11 years and haven't beaten them for almost 24. Silly take.Maybe for kids , but most of us have seen us beat spurs many times.
We aren't fucking Crawley town
"I have 1400 points which means I go to 90% of games throughout the season...
£30 for Tottenham, the first top Premier League side to play in Coventry since 2009. No way!
£35 for Watford and Bristol City, plus £30 for Leeds. No problem at all."

The last time we beat a top 6 (they finished 5 last season) Premier League side at a home match in Coventry, the Twin Towers were still standing.
It would be a memorable day surely? In the same way Wolves last season was a more memorable day than 99% of league matches we play.
It's not 30 quid for me. I had to pay £37 because I had to wait to buy a ticket for a non ST holder.
Do you think that's the way to treat supporters?

If we scored two stoppage time goals to beat spurs 3-2 next Wednesday it would be better than WolvesIt wouldn't be anywhere near as orgasmic as you are making it out
Nowhere near wolves away last season for example
Mental logic mate isn't itYou're comparing the Carabao cup to an FA Cup quarter final.
They're chalk and cheese regardless of the opposition.

The original post was about fans going to Watford or Leeds not going to this.
It is pretty much impossible to go to Leeds or Watford without a season ticket. You wouldn't have the points. Season ticket prices for this were £30.
I am going with a non-ST holder but still managed to get mine before the deadline. I do, however, think it's ridiculous that they aren't still £30 now.
The fa cup quarter final victory v wolves would not be beaten by a 4th round carabao cup win v Spurs..I'm starting to think you're a bit simpleIf we scored two stoppage time goals to beat spurs 3-2 next Wednesday it would be better than Wolves
This is such an odd contrarian take from you.

Fuck me , yes mate the 4th round of the old milk cup is as big as an fa cup quarter final ..Wouldn't it? Like I said, it would be the first time we've beaten a top 6 PL side at home since 2001.
It's a shame people are knocking this fixture. It should be a great occasion because we have not played many big sides at the Ricoh.
Maybe not but at home vs away and Spurs are a better team. It would certainly be up there. The fa cup quarter final victory v wolves would not be beaten by a 4th round carabao cup win v Spurs..I'm starting to think you're a bit simple

I'm taking a child, and I'm in safe standing (no U14s allowed), I had no option but to wait, (unless I bought us tickets blocks apart)

It just seems strange how much you're trying to downplay this game.
I don't particularly like the League Cup and always laugh when Birmingham and Stoke fans consider it a big trophy.
However, it is still a competitive fixture against a big side. I don't get how that isn't an exciting occasion? If we had played many big sides at the Ricoh/CBS fair enough, but we haven't. Not even in friendly matches.
