Trumps gone off the deep end today, trying to squirm out of any further debates and claiming he won "by a lot".

If he fannies out that'll be him done
It wouldn't be.

His core support (cult followers) will see it as a win for him by not following convention and refusing to be part of the lamestream media conspiracy.

Honestly, there is nothing, NOTHING, he could do that would change some of their minds. He could threaten to kill them and their families and they'd still holler and whoop.

He did actually brag he could stand on (5) st corner and do just that!

His core support won't change their minds but they do not make up enough voters for him to win.

Both candidates need the "undecided" vote as well. So yes if he backs out and looks weak he is done as the undecided voters are starting to back Harris and that will only push more of them that way.

BBC News - Trump's message of American decline resonates with pivotal voters
Meanwhile outside of the BBC and their need to find "balance" Harris leads in Michigan

Worth a watch:

Regardless of this post and how accurate it is or isn't, people creaming themselves over an ABC fact check are turning their brains off when it suits again. Anyone that knows anything about Haiti, the people, and how fucked that country is right now, will be able to tell you that these things are happening.

As a side note: How many times was Harris fact checked versus Trump in that debate? I guess they decided to do hers afterwards when less people are paying attention. Reminds me of the media here and 'let's wait for the facts' on certain topics/incidents, which then evaporate slowly out of the public eye.

To be fair Harris was not fact checked once - her comment on unemployment was an outright lie

Harris wasn't fact checked once and indeed spouted crap of her own. Judging by the reactions to my post however, some people only want one side of the argument to be fact checked anyway.

You do understand that the ‘cat eating’ story originated from a right wing Twitter/Truth Social source who churns out these lies on a daily basis?

Yeah the moderators were clearly biased, although trumps failings during the debate were pretty much self inflicted

They should’ve made the candidates answer the key questions. Harris came across reasonably well overall but was able to swerve anything challenging. Trump was too wound up about being told his rallies were shit to force the issue on important points and moderators just didn’t do their jobs

She'd been heavily coached for weeks and rehearsed over and over. She just used the questions as a prompt to deliver the lines she'd been given and rehearsed.

Trump believed he could wing it but he's not sufficiently articulate and fell straight into the very obvious traps her scripwriters had set.

She's an incredibly weak candidate and it was a great opportunity missed to expose her countless weaknesses and poor record.

Who cares, he's a nutter, not that it has anything to do with me!

I am not interested in twitter conspiracy theory accounts. I do however, guarantee there is some truth in certain animals being eaten on American soil, whether this Ohio incident is a red herring or not. Like I said, people on here are getting excited about these 'fact checks', but have no idea how the real world actually is, and they certainly know nothing about Haiti, its people, and what they eat.

There’s no evidence the immigrant community is eating people’s pets. But enough people like you will just believe it anyway I suppose, which is what these lies are aimed at doing.

What have you seen that makes you so sure it’s true?
Still, the burden of proof is on those making the claim. No proof has been given, because it isn’t happening.

Haitians are well-known for eating odd animals, particularly cats. There is also a problem in the country with cannibalism. I assume you have never met anyone from there at least, because away from the internet they will tell you this, even if it is quite embarrassing for many of them. Whether someone made this particular incident up or not is missing the point. It 100% goes on. To suggest otherwise is very naïve, and it is difficult to take seriously a set of people arguing about Haiti that are showing themselves up to know nothing about the place. Be thankful you have never been there, and hopefully never will.

I once had to chase Duckens Nazon out of my back garden after I caught him pursuing my cat up a large fir tree.
Others said they experienced similar but nothing was ever done typically.

The question wasn’t whether or not it happens in Haiti, the question was if it happened in that American town or not. Clearly, it didn’t.
