I still think most teams in the Championship sell this out, even at the prices.

Swansea also not selling as well as you'd expect for a 3pm Saturday game.

There seems to be serious negativity around unfortunately. We've always been a proper bandwagon club and unfortunately the wheels are off and it's stuck in a garage.

Very true and thats why its so important we win tomorrow so it adds a few more bums on seats for Wednesday.

I’m quite surprised we haven’t sold more at this point but it just wouldn’t surprise me if people leave it last minute and then bitch about having to collect tickets and big queues…..like they were never given all the information 🤷‍♂️

A touch dramatic. Most teams in the championship won't be getting 27K at home to Swansea, which we will. We're seeing record numbers at the minute, it's all fine.

People not understanding the dynamics of cup tie sales when you are starting from a base 0, lots of factors at play including the pricing. Blues pulled in 12K against Fulham and followed up with 26K in division 3 a few days later. I know Fulham not as big a draw by some way, but the point stands.

Blues have played Fulham many times in recent years. We've not played a side at home like Spurs since 09.

That for me is the main reason I'm surprised there hasn't been more of a rush for this, even at those prices. The club will be surprised to.

For years we've wanted a big club at home and haven't had it.

Spurs haven't won the league in over 60 years , don't really regard them as a so called big club. Maybe in their fans imagination.

It doesn't mean anything though. If MK Dons were playing Spurs they'd get a massive gate and then be back to 6K for the next league game. We're not them. We didn't have a great start last season, and especially the year before, but it didn't effect league gates. It won't this time either. Nothing to worry about. It's just one game where the enthusiasm hasn't met some people's expectations. No big deal. I know a lot of people who have binned it off because of the price. No point over thinking it, and it will still be decent and it'll be very noisy regardless.

When Ipswich played a PL side at the same stage last season the gate was 10,000 below their league gates. It was £20 for adults and £8 for kids. How many would they have got at £38/£26? It's the league cup early stages, it ain't that big of a pull.

It's more the fact we haven't played a side like it at home for well over a decade. It's a novelty game.

You're right that it will be noisy though. Our higher crowds in the past 12 months haven't been as vocal.

I think we are a bigger draw for Spurs then they are for us.
Have you seen tickets on a resale site for our away end some are £200!!!

Leicester, Leeds last season and Oxford this were all louder than any other home games in the last 10 years

It doesn't, Fulham would have been in same league as Brum couple of years ago. We're playing a "Super 6" team and played them once in 23 years.

I do think it's the kids prices holding back sales, £30 for an adult to see this is fixture is well priced imo.

Mind you, I think most people moaning would find anything to moan at. "If it was £28 I'd go, but £30 is too much!" when they live a 5 min walk away.

It definitely doesn't help that there's a real negative attitude with fans currently.

Had we been top of the league, the bandwagon would be out.

Might well be a lot of old traditionalists going up to the CBS today to grab tickets and get them in the wallets to save any messing about on Wednesday. A decent performance today will push up sales too but if we’re shite…..

Nobody can buy at £30 now though, it's £38 minimum now and £26 for kids. People won't pay that, it's self evident, because people aren't. It's blindingly obvious. Jesus.

Eh? It's called social media, how would you have possibly gauged this 20 years ago? The manager will have his name chanted today, and Wednesday., with gusto. We even sing positively about the owner. Most negative in 54 years? 😂There is very little negativity really. I repeat, we'll be getting 27K against Swansea. What are people going on about, it's a mental take.

Anybody know for definite if you can collect purchased tickets from the club shop ticket desk (open tomorrow) or is it just the ticket office (not open tomorrow)!??!!!!?????!!!!????

This is what takes the p*ss. If you're a ST you should be able to buy whenever, for whoever you want.

To say you've missed the deadline.... at home. If we finish midtable without a sniff off playoffs, ST will drop. 2 years on the trot and we're 12-15k.

For 20,000 odd it was £30 though?

I bet the same people that it's too expensive/much of a hassle would be begging for tickets to Spurs away/Wembley etc
