Kids pricing is absolutely fair. Just because it's a bigger team than usual doesn't mean we can give handouts. If the point people are making is that we're pricing children out of being Cov fans, then what's the difference between watching Spurs vs watching Swansea at the weekend? £15, and arguably a better chance of seeing a decent Cov performance.

if my 8 year old wasn’t a season ticket holder and wanted to last min go the game I would have to pay £25 for her. if you think that’s fair then I disagree and seems many other parents and families disagree too

I understand that, but I guess you have to look at the reasoning behind why you want to take a child. I would assume most would want to keep the kids coming back. You can either spend £25 and probably watch us get dominated by Spurs at an unfavourable time for kids, or you can take them to a prime Saturday 3pm slot for £15 in a game where we have more of a chance of putting in an exciting performance. That's surely a no brainer?

think you are missing the point massively. most families now have season tickets so they won’t be paying for the Swansea game

look at the areas impacted. family zone is 80% empty as it stands

That's a fair point I hadn't considered. £25 still decent value for a one off game by my mind. Anyone done a historical analysis of previous ticket prices v Prem clubs? What were the prices v Chelsea when we played them?

Edit: Quick google says £12 concessions, £25 adult! Maybe SISU had it right?

That was a Saturday and Fa cup quarter final and probably underpriced in all honesty but was back in 09

The state of current sales is suggesting the club got it wrong, and I'm one who said the pricings fine as it will likely sell out. Could pick up closer to the match, but at the moment there's going to be thousands unsold, and a lower kids price + slightly lower adult price could have achieved a sell out, and therefore maximised revenue at the ground on the day. Purely looking at it from a business point of view, I'm pretty sure they would have set pricing expecting a sell out.

I paid £7 for a pint of Poretti in an average Italian restaurant last night in Hinckley. Lunacy for me but if two tier Kier gets his way we should all be paying that just to protect ourselves from ourselves!
As someone else said, not too painful if you’re an £80k a year train driver but most find pricing for all forms of entertainment in the UK ridiculous!

I'd take a charity wager now that the FZ is less than 2/3 full. It also means that some who would've gone won't now, as they have kids so despite being season ticket holders will have to move and pay £37. As I said, back at school, 8pm (+ closed roads) kids back likely 11pm when it's on Sky. Missing a kid could miss an adult too plus food, drink, programme etc that we get 100% of not 45% as per tickets. The difference is negligible to the club at concession values imo. It's round 3 of the Carabou cup. We had decent Oxford pricing and still only 11,000 attended. Post holidays after season tickets and shirts lots will be feeling the pinch. I think it's too high and whatever we say on here, the crowd will reflect the truth. I think sensible pricing sells out. We'll be well short of capacity at these rates. I'll be going, but I'm the kind of idiot who travelled miles in L2, it's not about me and I'm not arguing the point for me, I think the pricing is too high and especially for kids.

The seating map looks similar to majority of games in 2022 the night before a game and there would be 22,000 there.
