West Brom must be laughing their tits off taking 2.5m off us for BTA and going top of the league.

but hey our expectations are too high
They’ve had a big turnover in players, top of the league

top six should be the expectation and 5 points from 5 games is so far off it’s alarming

annoying how robins goes oh it’s what we do start slow and get into a groove, why is that just the norm/excuse that oh we’re cov city we always start slow

I’ve no doubt we’ll grow into the season. Just frustrating that we’ll have top 4 form 15 games onwards knowing it’ll just about push 6th

Corberan is a really, really good manager. Probably the best in the league.
West Brom have a solid defence - don;t concede much - not sure that they have a lot of strength in depth though, so any injuries might be a problem for them as the season develops.

Looks like Stoke are back on the hunt for a new manager.

Jon Walters is Stoke's director of football and apparently made the decision. Reading the Stoke forum their fans are utterly deluded about what they are, they're a bit like we were by the time we appointed Chris Coleman.

Eh? Not even mentioning the fact they are top of the league Albion are a miles bigger club than Stoke
Stoke who are backed by one of the richest families in the UK who don’t worry about spending a few quid against West Brom who had to sell their leading scorer last year to balance the books.

So if they got the right man to spend it and who could set them up well they would be ok. West Brom are like a swan

I made the link because Sakamoto impressed a lot for us last season and was clearly targeted by other teams.

I assume you will be withdrawing the ridiculous accusation of racism?

So if his name was Matty Godden you would have drawn the same conclusion?

You came to the conclusion as he was Japanese and associated the same attributes and limitations on our Japanese player. It’s not racism it is stereotyping

The nationality is a coincidence.

What wasn’t a coincidence was the racist joke repeated twice about Sakamoto-you chose not to comment on that but have pulled up on this.

What a surprise.
