The fact that Frasers have been in ownership for a while now and have pretty much constantly been doing maintenance yet it's still not finished shows what a shit state Wasps let it get into.
yeh i think the council and wasps can both safely go in the c**t pileNot to defend Wasps but it was the council and family trust fund charity thing that was responsible for more than half of the time
Agree, but let's not forget to add SISU, Geoffrey Robinson, Bryan Richardson and of course Lee Hughes & Craig Bellamy.yeh i think the council and wasps can both safely go in the c**t pile
Please paint them blue or failing that black
I'm still waiting for the yellow and black seats to be put in which pest fans said was going to happenThe fact that Frasers have been in ownership for a while now and have pretty much constantly been doing maintenance yet it's still not finished shows what a shit state Wasps let it get into.
Why did we stop building in proper building materials?
Always think when one of these plastic and steel buildings goes up it’s going to look like shite in less than ten years.
Navy Blue would look good imo. Please paint them blue or failing that black

Both generally broke and unable to afford it in reality. Not to defend Wasps but it was the council and family trust fund charity thing that was responsible for more than half of the time
Feels like short termism. Particularly from the council. This isn’t an Aldi it’s a major landmark in the city for decades.
Great asset for the City, still wish it had been built more central thoughI can’t deny, I was so excited when the arena started going up. We used to go over to Coventry shopping at that time and stop by the visitor/viewing centre periodically to see how it was coming along.
Still think it looks mighty impressive when you come over the brow of the hill on the A444
One for the youngsters. Seems so long ago now...View attachment 38487

I know what you mean. Had twenty years of sun, wind, frost, rain and thousands of cars since then.Amazed that the car park once had painted bays. Need x ray vision to see if you're within the lines nowadays
More excuse for the attendants to fine you for not parking in the baysAmazed that the car park once had painted bays. Need x ray vision to see if you're within the lines nowadays

Went to the Olympic Stadium in Berlin about 10 years ago. The bowl of the stadium is built entirely in natural stone, it's stunning. Can't say much about the powers that built it.
Think I'd look into a stadium wrap rather than replacing the cladding which would probably cost a fair bit.Agreed those sky blue panels look unbleached and shabby,

If you had a wrap made to the correct dimensions it would look pretty good and would be cheap enough to change every season or two.
Yeah a few clubs do their stadiums. Trouble is I'd imagine if they went the wrap route there would be a massive risk of it all just being advertising. We have that big sign promoting the Monster event already.Like a big sticker?
