Why do people want Bassette to play wide. I really don’t think it will suit us, especially with Wright on the left.

Not sure who I'd pick at the moment, especially up front. I think it would have to come down to who has recovered best.

I'm wondering if a front three of Bassette, Simms, BTA is feasible to start. A high workrate from the two and I think the best chance of getting goals in Simms.

Wright has been hot and cold recently IMO, and EMC isn't showin the confidence yet. I don't think Sakamoto will be fit enough to start either.

Midfield Eccles and Rudoni are certain, but who with them? Allen played well but might not be recovered enough. Torp look a bit off the pace so maybe give him the more advanced midfield role to reduce the impact. Sheaf will almost certainly not be fit enough IMO.

Defence quite happy to be unchanged. I think Binks may well end up with a suspension before too long, but then you remember the alternative is Kitching and he may well up with one too.

It's Swansea so probably be a draw. They're also a team we seem to always sit off and defend against even when there's not a great deal to worry about. I hope we try and press them from the off.

I’d be going with:
Dovin
MVE Thomas Binks Bidwell
Sheaf Eccles
Rudoni
Saka Simms Mason-Clarke (solely due to how tired Wright looked Weds)

i would like Robins to maybe consider playing a 4-4-2. i know he won't but would like to see two up top especially at home

Want to see the crowd up for this and the players as combative as they were on Wednesday. Football has to be quick tempo and aggressive from the start.
Don’t want to see Robins making excuses for tiredness, Simms lumbering around hiding amongst their defenders, stupid short hospital passes in the midfield from anyone or unnecessary substitutions for the sake of it.
PUSB !

Line Up I would start.

To be honest, think it’s more of the same imo for Swansea. Would rotate mason clark but to be honest would be happy for wright to start.

Would prefer Allen to hope just for work rate but understand starting torp for technical ability. Think we should play direct here since Swansea want possession feel there will be space behind.

Flying back tonight from Turkey can't wait for the match tomorrow we need to play like Wednesday without the sloppy passes.

Has anyone seen how many Swansea are expected to bring ? Am I right thinking they had the lowest average away following last year so would be surprised to see more than 1.5k

This is what I'd like to see.

BTA as good as he was, played a full 90. Sakamoto should be fresh.

Sheaf dispite being sloppy on his return, is our best player in that role and has to start.

Bidwell remains, as doubts over JDS fitness.

Kitchen gets a start to freshen the back line up, after 90 mins for Binks

Rudoni, Eccles, Wright all keep their shirts after being subbed dispite 2 of them having good games. Wright has to play over EMC for me at this stage.

Bassette - difficult one but there 's just something about him that makes me think our forward line will be far more threatening with him in it.

2-2 prolonging our record of not beating swansea and 90 minutes of listening to the two worst songs we always sing against Welsh Teams

4 games until the next IB with 3 of them at home. Don't know if it's just the misguided sky blue blood inside me, but I've got a good feeling. 10 points, maybe even all 12.

Beating Leeds away isn’t trivial for a team that’s only got one league win to its name. It is the Championship though, who knows

Wright Simms Sakamoto

Sheaf Rudoni Eccles

Dasilva Binks/Kitching Thomas MVE

Dovin

Give Bassette plenty of mins, then I'd start him next week at Leeds where he can play a similar role to the Spurs game.

I doubt whether Sheaf or Sakamoto are fit enough to start, otherwise it would be my lineup with Kitching over Binks

Everything is still jumping around as fast as anything. Stoke is interesting. They actually seemed pretty stable.

Millwall, Luton and a few others could be in trouble more than just having a slow start.

Still very early days.

Thomas needs to start, and keep starting. Play Kitching or Binks alongside.

If Sakamoto not fit then either Latibeaudiere at RB and MVE in front, or BTA on right.

Bassette should be given the last half an hour of foreseeable games, coming on for Simms. Needs to play at the top.

Rudoni in the 8 role, but if we want to rotate/are short then I think BTA should be given a run out at 10.

Wright on the left, but EMC needs to keep picking up minutes one way or another.

Sheaf and Eccles midfield, obviously. Torp if either are not fit.

They took an allocation of 1.9K which are still on sale.
The Club expecting a crowd of 26K so doesn't sound like Swansea sold many as sales in the home end look pretty good.

I don't think BTA has the nous to be in the number 10 role tbh

He has certainly played himself into contention but I just can't see him starting Bassette at this point
