I'm going to wait a few weeks as it usually takes them that long to iron out all the bugs.

Assume they've not added in the third kit for Cov?
Do the player faces look any better with that new AI system?

I hate to say it as it's a phrase I don't like but it does all look 'cleaner' and gameplay smoother

Guess EA didn’t know what to do with an embossed shirt so they’ve just made it look like a printed on pattern. Looks nothing like it does in real life.

They must send them some sort of early version of the kit to use, no idea where the navy collar came from last season. Weird that the cofa tree thing is different as well, although the club seem to be using that on all their graphics

Did Wasps have those padded seats, maybe they were still there when they scanned the stadium? Hopefully they'll get changed.

Have they added any extra stuff like chants or the WLADITT walk out music?

I've got a few of the old PS1 PES games on a dodgy handheld, they've still got the magic. More sense of actual control than any football game released in the last decade

For me,no other footy game's bettered PES 3 & that was 21 years ago - the gameplay was brilliant plus you had realistic deflections etc

Totally agree. PES 5 was my favourite football game, apart from the football manager franchise (I get very addicted to that) as that's very different

I'm still addicted to FM,(although I don't think I'll be getting the latest one),as you say though - totally different kinda game

I'm quite underwhelmed with the CBS, to be honest.

We still do not have a crowd sound, so we get the generic shite chants.

Last years home kit looked rubbish on FC24 as well, was different from the actual one

Got my Ultimate Team sorted. Missing a few reserve players, and need to do some evos now, but almost done.

Although, a tad annoyance is, if I want to play the 4-3-3, I have to switch in game as Wright is only a ST or LM for some reason

Why don't they update the sodding player photos every year? So lazy they are freely available as part of the deal they pay. Rudoni looks about 12

EA do make some very weird decisions.

Apart from the pattern not being quite right as mentioned above, the kits looked ok. Then they did a day 1 squad update & changed the font colours to be wrong... Now the name & numbers on the shirt are black whilst on the shorts they're white & basically invisible

Also, in the same 'update' they have decided to remove all the youngsters who have yet to play in the league for no apparent reason. So gone are Isaac Moore, Ricardo Di Trolio, Luke Bell & Greg Sandiford, further removing the realism. Just nonsensical.

I believe, with the exception of Bassette, they have now been done but they didn't get the official photos in time to include in Ultimate Team. They are updated in every other game mode.

Ah yes the classic. I actually enjoyed 24 before they did their usual update a month later that ruined it.

I only ever play Ultimate Team for the first month or two and then sack it in. Not good enough to compete with the 12 year olds that spend 100 quid on packs the second they get the game and just use the meta with Mbappe.

I stick to mainly career mode.

Kit does look weird though and I've seen from some videos that the name and numbers on the home shirt are the wrong colour.

Probably still going end up buying it once it's properly released, mainly for the CBS

Here are my list of a few positives and negatives (be interesting to hear from others who have played it);

Positives; Gameplay feels smooth and relatively realistic, player body position is important when performing certain passes creating a more realistic feel to the passing system, Rush game mode is freakishly addictive and enjoyable when playing with other players like-minded to you, the lack of max player stats (up to 99) when setting up a Virtual Pro on Pro Clubs allows users to make more varied player types, "club facilities" on Pro Clubs allows clubs to create an emphasis on play style by boosting certain attributes for all players in the club, inclusion of the CBS

Negatives; Even after trying workarounds the menus can be very slow and unresponsive and a glitch when opening pack rewards on Ultimate Team requiring a restart of the game (should be a fix in a title update, surely?), generic crowd chants at the CBS gives a generic feel outside of visuals, scarcity of Coventry City items on Ultimate Team, unrealistic ballooning of lofted passes (although I do play short passes, so less annoying for me), Rush commentators are exceptionally annoying so mute where you can

EDIT: Oh, yeah, and Ben Sheaf is so annoying to play as on Rush!
