That’s the most openly frustrated I have ever seen him with the players in his time here. Really called them out. Looks an unhappy camp at the moment.

He said they didn't listen to him. He then also openly said he waited until half time to talk to them to adjust things. 🤣🤣 Why?

I don't think today was on MR.

Hadji was embarrassingly anonymous for the first half.

Defensively we were in the right place for the 1st, just nobody wanted to clear it.

I'm also sure at no point MR has told the players, allow them to drive into our box and keep backing off.

I thought we created decent enough chances and with some more quality in CM we would've won today.

This comming week will be a massive test of his man management skills.

He needs to draw a line under today's performance and start over. He needs to be out there on the training ground along with all his staff to show unity.

Imo the performance away at Leeds needs to be immense, I could accept a defeat if the team play with passion and pride, and fight for one and other.

Another piss poor performance like today and recovery could be beyond him.

That first half was horrendous. I hope there will be some very embarrassed faces when this is played back at Ryton.

Hadji and possibly Norman should find themselves on the bench next week, Not sure how bad Allen was injured, but if it’s minor he too needs a stint on the bench, MR needs to show this is not acceptable, he was clearly pissed off.

One good performance next week ( is unlikely ) will be papering over the cracks , as it’s another woefull start, to our biggest season for age’s & expectations so high for a change !

The first 30 mins was on Robins ….

BTA and Wright and Rudi had no idea where to be on the pitch when Swansea had the ball at the back. As a consequence we were far too easy to pass through the lines and get at our defence …..

Who's starting instead of Wright then? EMC? He looked like a pub player today.

Not sure I've ever seen Robins that frustrated, the words, the tone, the body language. And directed directly at his own players too.

That'll go one of two ways. Either it fires players up and we improve, or he loses the dressing room and then it will be curtains for him.

He has earnt the chance to put things right but time runs out for everyone in football and I do worry where we are right now. There seeems little to no confidence, I’m not sure what system we are trying but the midfield is struggling beyond words. It’s just so poor and frustrating right now. I still honestly believe we should go and get Matty James . One final thing is that if Sheaf was fit for the bench how in the name of god couldn’t he get on the pitch?

You play your best team. Yes, it was a decent performance against Spurs but we f*ckin lost at the end of the day.
Couldn’t believe that starting 111.
Simms, Torp, Kitching, and Dasilva should have all started.
Why didn’t he start Sheaf or at least bring him on. He’s our captain and needs minutes.
I don’t remember this many shite performances in a short period of time under Robins ever. Stoke, Bristol, Norwich, Swansea. And we’re in mid September

Agree about getting the leaders on the pitch, who are they though?

Sheaf, Eccles, Kitching, Lati, MVE. Maybe Thomas?

Any obvious ones I've missed out?

What formation would we have to do to get all the leaders on? 3-5-2?

Dovin

Thomas Lati Kitching

MVE Eccles Sheaf Rudoni Bidwell

Simms Wright

Give us a bit more defensively but still with some good impact subs. Saka, EMC, BTA, Bassette, Binks, Allen, Torp, DaSilva, Wilson

My biggest frustration with this season thus far is that we seem to have gone back to not knowing what our best team is. The reason everyone was backing us to go well was because we had a settled team but it doesn't feel like it now.
Last season I was pretty sure Thomas and Kitching were first choice - but apparently now they aren't. Our midfield is a mess, Simms has gone from being 'big dog' to bench warmer and there have been big changes to the coaching staff. It will sort itself out but right now there are questions marks everywhere.

In the 15 league games since Lawrence left we have taken 12 points. That's 7 from 9 games last season and 5 this season.
Over a season that would lead to certain relegation.
With Viveash going as well, the replacement personnel with different methods and ideas doesn't appear to be working for some reason at the moment.

He’s frustrated because he knows playing the same 11 was his cock up.

He pretty much admitted this. Said he prevaricated about changing team and regretted his decision.

We need a leader in the backline and the only one who could potentially do that is Kitching. Binks might even be the better player currently out the two but he’s no organiser/leader, some of our defensive play has been shambolic

Playing three proper forwards with Rudoni just behind left us light in midfield (again) as well

The most disappointing thing is that Swansea were really not that great. We made them look ok with how inept we were.
