1. Blatant handball - no penalty
2. Stopped the game for 6 minutes and several bookings for time wasting - yet only 8 minutes added on
3. Letting blatant fouls go unpunished
4 management of the substitution time

Very Very poor today,-

But our side put in a worse performance and let's be honest deserved nothing today.

He was another shocker Milan ran forward with a bloke kicking him from behind and nothing. At the end of the game Eccles had been booked and then was fouled that he gave the other way and Eccles handled the ball surely that was a second yellow.

I am afraid today proved that the officials cannot be trusted with adding time, subs taking ages to get off the pitch and then they wait until the player coming on gets into position.

When the play restarted after the ridiculous break he should have been made to tell the crowd the amount of time being added.

None of this takes away from the fact we were poor

I personally thought the worst decision was the blatant pull on EMC when the Swansea man had slipped over near Singer's Corner.

Baffling how the ref waved play on. Ref was a pure c**t, though, as couldn't wait to blow his whistle when a Swansea man went down.

I was so angry with that booking.

It was a yellow but, as I shouted at the ground and remain thinking, that was on the ref.

Let Swansea get away with it time and time again until Eccles had enough (ref wasn't the reason we lost, though)
I was still struggling to believe he’d only given 8 minutes. That makes about as much sense as appointing a referee from Wakefield to referee Leeds at the business end of the season.

...and in the interests of balance, saka did a pretty blatant handball to stop the ball going out at one point. the ball was a foot in front of him, so no other way he was ever going to control it.
right in front of the linesman.
piss poor from all 3 officials today.

Couldn't agree more mate, I was preparing for at least 11 minutes. How he added only eight, which was, what, only one minute more than we were off for, is unjustifiable.

I do not subscribe to conspiracy theories, but I would like to see the ref in front of a panel to try to justify that (although I disagree, I would not want him to have to justify bringing us off, purely how he compensated for it via stoppage time added)

checked the ccfc twitter feed, and we were actually off for 9 minutes

Was it? I was in block 11 and looked like high shoulder to me, but fair enough if you spotted it

Play stopped on 64....(Poss just before... I purposely had a look as I saw the lightening) Swansea had a free kick and were time wasting - it was just after this point that the ref started fannying around regarding the possibility of suspending the game.... According to the twitter account, play resumed on 74.... 10 minutes.....
8 minutes added...so not even taking into account subs/stoppage/blatant time wasting... Just unbelievable....

Yeah, sorry lads, I was giving a low estimate on time from when we came off to coming back on, will defer to your much more informed estimates

There was one passage of play late in the second half where Torp was clearly tripped/fouled but the ref gave nothing then about 3 seconds later Rudoni made an identical challenge and a free kick was given. Absolutely maddening.

It’s staggering incompetence. I was hoping against hope that he’d abandon the game, about our only chance of getting something

Torp was outmuscled and Rudoni committed a foul.

It was a mistake
I know how it happens but it absolutely shouldn’t and when my watch stopped and I waited for the supporters to whinge and played about 10 too much I just used the old the ref is the sole arbiter of time spiel
He would have done the same knowing he’d fucked up

The weird thing that’s slightly tinfoil hatty is that he didn’t give us a single foul until about 80 mins then gave us a load. Almost like he realised he had to even it up or it would look too suspicious.

He gave a foul on Bidwell right in front of us near the end shoulder to shoulder no complaint from Bidwell.
As for the handball who in the CBS didn't see it?We are seated toward the other end and could see the ball hit his lower arm.

He was the perfect ref for an away side and they knew it. Top refs let the game flow while letting all the players know they are in control. This ref was over the top and made the game about him ..

As for our performance, we are still very nieve and lack leadership on the pitch. Nobody looks capable of grabbing the game or controlling the tempo. The Swansea side look the complete opposite to us, well drilled and knew how to manage the game.
