Well maybe we should appoint adi viveash as manager then , honestly it's a ridiculous argument

And not just that but very disrespectful to marks achievments

You know I’m not gonna disagree. Just pointing out that AV was far more influential compared to that crowd on the bench now.

Not sure I believe that more couldn’t have been done to keep him around.

If the manager can’t man-manage and control discipline, then he’s a poor manager.

If Adi Vivaesh controlled man-management and the training, what did Robins bring?
I think you talk shit , how about that ?

you’re the one blaming everyone but Robins.

I don’t think Vivaeash or Lawrence were the be all and end all. But the coaching staff now isn’t the problem here.

it’s robins who names the team, it’s his tactics, and he’s looking like he’s losing the dressing room. That’s not on King or the performance director or the coaching staff - it’s on Robins.

If we don’t pick up 4 points in the next 3 games (I still back them to do this against Blackburn and Sheff Wed) we’ll be in the relegation zone. Then questions need to be asked

Well let's hope that king isn't as fickle as many of our own fans

The problems here are many. Can just a new manager fix them?

Honestly I've had enough mate , fuck this forum and fuck the fans

I’m confident it’s gonna get sorted - maybe there are individual issues in the squad that need putting right. And if they’re professional enough, they will be. We will struggle with this midfield but I don’t think that’s an attitude thing. A bit more patience required from people on here, said so the other week, people being sucked in by predictions and “professional” opinions.

Going away on Saturday, so relieved to be missing the game and this forum. It’s a likely loss and more fuel on the fire for some.

I’m not on the Robins out train believe it or not. I just don’t believe in the theory that he’s untouchable.

we’re a CM light, that’s something that the recruitment team, and Robins need to address.

players visibly bickering and looking fractured is something the manager needs to fix, usually when a manager publically slates the team and they squabble on the pitch it’s usually a sign that the beginning of the end for the manager is coming

Can anyone say they think we’re getting the most out of our players right now?

I think the frustration is coming from the fact that the limiting factor no longer seems to be the quality of our players.

There are definite questions to be asked about the quality of certain players , Torp is a big one in midfield , he lacks the physi al attributes to be consistently succesful there , but we have torp allen and Eccles and we've not played a single game with Sheaf yet in the league .

The middle of the teams spine is quite weak , alan browne really would have been a great signing

Ok sorry for the reactive angry response to you @HuckerbyDublinWhelan , I'm just lost with all the robins out stuff after spending years watching shit he gave me the best years of my life with city and I can't believe the way some fans speak about the bloke

Been to Wembley 4 times
Fa cup semi final
2 promotions
Checkatrade cup win
Championship play off final defeat

It's been amazing

I’m not sure I agree, he’s looked better this season, more presence. In any case, Robins didn’t even start him at the weekend.

We definitely needed another signing in central midfield but I’m not sure that’s our biggest issue.

I think the midfield is a huge issue at present and we've yet to play our best team all season

No need for the apology. Robins is always going to be emotive.

I get it. I was born in 1988. The last 7 years are the best I’ve witnessed. He’s the guy I attribute to it. You’re right he deserves more respect than I give him.

From what I know from the city is we’re likely now to pull out a victory against Leeds just to frustrate us even more. But ultimately if the squad is fractured. It may be that we need fresh leadership - big 3 games coming up certainly.

The comment that stuck out was one I haven’t heard from him before-that he’d ignored deciding the team so just went with the same one again.

Sounds like someone who could use an assistant to ease a bit of the workload.

I think he said he was happy with tottenham and went with that team because of it .. but maybe he shouldn't have so lesson learnt .

Or along those lines

We need a number 2 and we need the coaching staff to sit in the stands behind the dugout

Yeah, Robins said he prevaricated over keeping the same team, which he wouldn’t usually do, because they had played so well against spurs. He held his hands up. Lesson learned.

I could understand the message it was sending to players ie you play well and you stay in but with hindsight it was a mistake especially as game was Wednesday (not Tuesday). I’d imagine a lot of fans would’ve been happy enough with the team prior to kick off though

I have similar concerns over the number of coaching staff on the bench but guess that’s the same as most teams. Is it mainly Robins and boetang making the calls though ? Hard to see from where I sit

this is the thing. before the game you've got people demanding players stay in as they've earned it and then when it goes tits up the same people call Robins clueless for not making changes!

I think he probably does but there's a difference between what is your best team , players form game on game and fitness game on game.
Hmm, not sure I agree. We played well at Watford, then he made some rotational changes for Spurs. Then he’s suddenly convinced by that team and starts them all Saturday.

He’s been flip flopping between Thomas and Lati. Dasilva came in at Watford, played well, benched again. Simms scored, gets dropped. Jamie Allen still somehow starting games. Some very odd decisions being made imo.

He said himself after the game he basically rewarded the players for their efforts against Spurs, but probably shouldn't have .

Tats injuries , Sheaf out , midfield not working without him so rotating , he possibly doesn't know his best centre half pairing , I can agree with that but I feel like he plays Latibeaudiere to add a level head or a perceived leader

I think that was very naive, made a comment about the prospect of Bassette starting to that effect. It was a completely different game to how league games will go.

Maybe we just have to write it off as a mistake. I’ve also written off getting anything vs Leeds. So Blackburn and Sheff Weds need to be better.

The major thing that I feel this team is lacking is leadership on and off the pitch. Doyle, Kelly & Fadz led by example and set a work ethic and positive culture.
All successful teams have strong characters leading them…. Roy Keane, Patrick Viera, etc. Who’s ours???
