Lati motm and I didn't want him to start, but that spare man in a 3 is the easiest to play and why Fadz was able to Marshall so well from there.

In fact all the back 3 ok but not surewho was at fault for the goal assume someone should've has duties with everyone back. Sheaf and Eccled worked hard too, just lacking some rhythm up top.

MvE - 4 very poor today
Thomas - 5 would've been a 4 but for the late header
Lati - 7 very steady and made crucial blocks and interceptions
Binks - 6 steady
DaSilva - 7 motm , our only outlet for most of the game .
Sheaf - 5 still not match sharp
Eccles - 5 better second half but woeful finishing
Rudoni - 5 went missing second half
Bassette - 6 battled well but needs to score
Simms - 5 off it today

BTA - 5 couldn't get in the game
Wright - 6 goal wasn't handball and should've scored late on ,has to start midweek
Torp - 6 lively and progressive,would start him also

Simms - when you get back in the team, he should be fighting hard to stay in. I didn't see that at all. When Thomas-Asante came on he did not stop running, either pressing or finding some space.

Dovin - Think that clears up who should be our No.1. No way Wilson saves that drilled low shot in the first half.

Simms - Just what is going on? It’s like we’ve travelled back 12 months. Should have scored that header 1st half. He’s too uninvolved for me, and his touch is still dodgy.
Bassette - lively., but he’s an impact sub still, for me.
we immediately looked more dangerous when Asante and Haji came on.
Problem as I see it, we’re still miles away from knowing our best team.

Maybe that is a point too high. A real quality centre forward scores that header first half. His style is laconic but that doesn’t go down well when the goals aren’t flowing.

I know he gets a lot of stick and I've probably thrown a lot of criticism of him about as well but Latibaudiere has gone up in my opinion of him today.
He was excellent today performance wise and spoke very well in the interview and one of few players who went right over to the fans to face up to the criticism, you can see why he is well liked by the management.

Sheaf on his day is one of our best players, but I'm not sure if he's exactly captain material, and someone like Lati probably is after games like today

The boo boys DaSilva and Lati were stand outs at the back. Binks was fine too.

Thomas has his increasing frequent all over the place game. Some good bits, but lots of bad.

Rudoni good in small glimpses but not involved enough. Said it numerous times now; he’s not a 10.

I’m not on the Bassette hype train others were pre today, so I’m more objective on it - I thought he offered something. The harrying worked a few times and his pace gave us an option and drew fouls. Terrible miss though.

Confidence booster for Dovin with some good saves.
