Some of our fans (44 Viewers)

Was just about to post in the match thread but probably fits here better

Irrespective of how good or bad we play or if you think Robins should stay or go it's disappointing that we have a vocal minority who struggle to hide their relish at a loss or poor performance. Seems we have some supporters who prioritise being 'right' and internet points over the success or failure of the club

who relishes us doing badly? Come on surely you don’t believe that …

people want to make it black or white and it’s simply not the case. No fan, player, club owner or manager is 100% right or 100% wrong.

People need to understand that outside of their support of the club it is a business that requires results. Loyalty means nothing.

I’m always surprised after a pretty dismal defeat that the players insist on getting too close to angry fans, some of which will vent. Just applaud from distance as an acknowledgment and get off.

I have never abused the players at a game, nor do I boo at the end of the game, but it’s not hard to see why fans are furious at the moment.

We were sold a dream and at the moment it looks like we’ll be playing in League One next season.
The problem being that so many people bought in to the dream. We’re an average Championship side who’ll finish 14th. We had a world class player 2 seasons ago who almost single handed dragged us in to the Premier League. We played well against Leicester and Wolves last season. Doug is the emperor with no clothes.

I think fans are entitled to buy into the dream when we’ve been the one of the biggest spenders in the division two seasons in a row. The recruitment team ballsing up the funds made available to them is a different matter.

If you're saying now that we'll finish 14th then Robins should absolutely be sacked.

There was no reason at all for us to not challenge this year

I hate this. We went through years of toxic fan base and it was horrible. Fans have been brilliant on our rise. Such a shame if we go shit again

like I say, look at the stuff on here- literally making stuff up in order to try and whip everyone up and get them into that full on angry hysteria where every match ends up toxic. It’s such a letdown to realise that we do indeed have so many fickle fans. Abusing them as they’re coming off the pitch, too much.

What do you class as abuse?

"Sort it out" seems like legitimate criticism to me

So what I'm hearing is if the fans stop moaning we can turn this around? That's a relief, I just thought we had been dry bummed in the transfer market.

I’ll hold my hands up and say I used to go games and boo tell them to fuck off.

I was there at Bristol Rovers Boxing Day and all those others.

Not helpful and doesn’t work though. Fans getting behind the players works and helps us get results. Forest and Bristol City stick in the mind

We did get behind them today. They served up shit once again.

Levels to this isn’t there. Having standards and pushing them onto players, is a positive. Robins said this isn’t an academy thus fans shouldn’t clap players off simply for turning up.

However, as been said before Treating Mark like that after all he’s done is crap. He’s a club legends regardless of how it’s gone this season and whether he’s sacked, going through a shit personal time.

Not like it has been, but there wasn’t any dissent until the final whistle. Wasn’t the case last season where we really did get on their backs during the game
The away support generally is good in number but shite vocally .. whatever the results that's how it's been for some time ..shite

Used to be amazing

To be fair I can see why we don't sing now , we made a slogan with dream big play up on it and we aren't winning the league
Evo, fair play for your staunch positivity

but there is a difference between ‘not winning the league’ and probably being in the bottom 3 in a hours time

Matt , me and you are not the same pal .

You're a very negative person and extremely quick to turn when things aren't going smooth , you will always be that way so your future supporting the club will be exactly as it is right now .. all over the shop

Yeah that’s fair I am a negative person, and I like I said I admire your positivity

But where do you say enough is enough evo with performances on the pitch, genuine question
