View attachment 38939there’s a list of available managerswho’ve managed in the second tier.

who tickles peoples fancy then

get the Twitter sensation Beale in. Top bantz.

seriously - managing in this league is not a massive thing for me, nor is their “availability” - without knowing any context of whether Doug could pay to release someone.
Forcing me to pick someone it would have to be Schumacher.

In that video being shared, did Robins do a "cry more" action to our fans? Or have Interpreted it wrong?

So we are in a relegation battle, and you think that doesn’t warrant a change?

Remind me where we were at this point last season… a season where we reached an Fa cup semi final and were a whisker away from being in the final, people were talking about a statue for robins.

Remind me where we were at this point the season before with a relegation level wage budget, the season where we were a penalty away from the premier league.

You talk absolute tripe

Ah so it's acceptable because we were shit previously at the start when we had no pitch to play on? What's the excuse this year?

We are going backwards. We weren't this bad.

We were 13th with 14 points from 10 this time last season, 2 points from play offs and 6 points clear or the relegation zone.

The season before isn't really comparable as we had to play most of our first 10 games away from home due to the pitch debacle.

for context …

on this date in 2022, we had played 12 and had 13 points but sat in 23rd position. We had 3 games in hand on those around us, due to the stadium saga.

It's being tactically aware as much as anything. Anybody who will actually look at what's happening in the game and try to change it tactically would be an improvement.

It's not just about giving them a rocket.

What would you have done differently tactically? And before you mention it; Bassette was never going to play the 90, as he played midweek. We played okay in the second half, we just couldn’t get shots on target.

With the Stadium situation meaning players couldn’t get to a high level of match sharpness. Not exactly the same.

You have to balance the past and being kind to MR with the consequences of this continuing all season

He's made like for like changes again even when losing.

It was clear it wasn't working, get tavares on for the last 10.

All of this pre planned nonsense doesn't work. React to the game going on.

Tavares for who

Eight points from ten games equates to less than 40 points by the season's end and relegation before the season has finished.
It's a worrying start. We have been here before but at the moment I can't see any significant improvement.
add that on to the end of last season and it is much worse

Tavares? Come on, you’re grasping now.

He went like for like because all that was missing was the finishing. And it worked but for a dodgy handball call.

Yeah not 100% sold on the changes.

Would have personally moved to a 5-2-3 as they moved to a box to try and narrow the game, and played wright and sakamoto on the wing for bassate and Jack.

MR clearly has to take some blame. But he’s always been poor with subs and a tactically conservative manager. This isn’t new.

Difference now is the players aren’t performing, and that’s a combination of him/coaches and players themselves.

I don’t want him gone, but recognise the end might be near. If he does go fans having a pop at him directly after a game is a grim way for it all to end.

He’s done way more than improve us on the pitch, he’s been key to the re-build of our club.

Sad state of affairs.

My summary of my own post; don’t want him to go but if he does, he deserves a better send off that this.

That applies to players and fans.

In midfield ? As an attacking midfielder ? Which position

Putting him on is a sign of desperation but if you did it would be instead of Sakamoto who looks now that his 12 game spell was a fluke

I'm not sure Torp did much and when Bassette went off the game changed because the press went with him. At least Tavares with Wright and BTA could have hassled them.

I'm not sure anything worked, at best it would have been a draw.

We didn't have a shot on target until stoppage time.
