Honestly fuck off the lot of you

I’ve not been to Colchester and Wycombe on cold midweek nights for some twat who couldn’t be arsed to go when we were shit to slag the man who brought us back from there off

It's an absolute myth that it's only the 'new' fans who are angry with Robins.

Most on this site were posting after losing to Accrington Stanley.

I would agree about top half, but not November though.

I doubt King knows quite what to do, but if I’m him I’m looking for progress before the January window opens, otherwise I’m not gonna back the manager at all, and then that’s the end basically.

The ample opportunity for someone to come in and implement their new ideas is an international break. After November, I’m not sure there is one before the end of the season. It also gives any prospective coach opportunity to evaluate the squad ahead of the January transfer window.

This isn’t reactionary - I’ve just had a look and it was almost a month ago I initially posted that. We’ve not seen much improvement in that time.

I want a change of manager, but I think he’s done a superb job these last seven years, given me some memories to last a lifetime.

I just don’t want to happen what I think could if we let this carry on any longer.

Hoping for him to turn it around and me get absolutely bombarded on here; because it means we’re winning games

The key to all of this. Robins has been by far the most successful manager in my lifetime. It’s been great. Presently, it is beyond shit. Said a few weeks back if we’re not in the top half by November international break that’s the end for me. I don’t want it to be. I want him to turn it round and lead us to the PL. I just feel, like many players along the way, our ambitions may have now outgrown Robins.

probably the most sensible post on here this evening…

We don’t seem to know how to work up the pitch

how many times did we resort to going back to Dovin today

I couldn’t care less.. Mark Robins will turn it round, I’m confident of it

A load of entitled twats who only jumped on the bandwagon when we won a few games will never make me change my mind either

My opinion of the whole experience of watching Coventry City FC and it’s fanbase is about as low as it gets right now, I’d take being back to 10,000 crowds and away ends where you can buy on the day of the game in a heartbeat right now cause if you want my opinion the majority of our fans are self entitled, arrogant c*nts
No offence mate but the bars been set a bit higher now, I don’t want the play off final to be the closest we ever get, seems we’re going backwards, im sure robins will turn it around but we’re playing catch up again, I don’t expect us to be top of the league playing like man city, I do expect the players to be absolutely knackered when they come off the pitch and given everything, not sure they are at the minute, it’s not being arrogant its knowing we shouldn’t be 1 point off being bottom of the league and it’s fucking frustrating

King removes MR and that’s the last piece of the past that he can pin the blame on for not succeeding. Then it really is all on him.

Get rid and what happens next. I can’t see King paying what’s needed for a manager like the ones we’d want, it would most likely be Boateng, and I’d venture to suggest we really would be fucked then, not even the hope we have now driven by the fact Robins has turned it around before.
You are the guy moaning about people inventing situations to have a moan, right?

Being blunt, I think he’s wanted Robins out for a little while and Robins knows this. Hence the ‘Head of Coaching’ role previously posted and subsequently removed. The rest of the staffing model on the playing side is not designed for a ‘Manager’. I think Robins is eyeing up a constructive dismissal case.

Then he should have his own man lined up ready to start.

yep, and I’m not moaning. I’m saying Robins needs to stay, for a variety of reasons.
You invented a scenario, of Boateng taking over the reigns, and moaned about it. Exactly what you criticised others of doing.
Anyone you seem in peak moan mode today so carry on you seem to be enjoying it.

Don't even know what thread to put this in but so much talk of fans being entitled. Fuck off with that shit, it's not entitled to think this is completely unacceptable. It's embarrassing and pathetic and it's been going on for fucking ages, it's depressing.

We need fresh ideas or it's a relegation battle for this expensively assembled squad.

King freely admits he hasn't got a clue on the football side of things

Which makes it even more galling that the area where he does know his onions- business/organisational structures- has turned out to a be a fucking car crash

He won’t get that long if current forms continues.
I can see why Doug might hold off, I know it'll go down really badly with a large percentage if he does sack Robins.
Seen more people saying Doug out than Robins out and honestly I just don't get it, it's like people will look to anyone to blame other than the manager.

Why do you think he’d want robins out ? got him to a play off final, he wanted a cup run and he got him a great cup run, guessing there were prob a few words said between them over transfers, there’s no way robins wanted to start the season with that midfield or defence, I’m sure there was an interview with king where he said he’d give robins everything he needed to get us to where we want to be ? that doesn’t sound like an owner trying to force the manager out ?

For those saying Doug out how ? He owns the club , Robins doesn't. Only one winner.

Maybe he’s behind all these polls…

I don’t really know. Not his appointment at the end of the day, and for all the fluttering of eyelashes and kissy faces both he and Robins give each other in public, who knows what’s actually happening behind the scenes.

Let’s face it. If rumours are to be believed, Robins initially wasn’t given the option of an assistant, then when he approached someone that was kiboshed. He’s not being allowed to sign Matty James. Maybe it’s just a case of Doug feeling he’s overreaching his responsibility given we have a coaching staff/recruitment team. Not saying I agree with that, just theorising.
