It’s just a feeding frenzy now- get him out, fuck him off, sling him out the door. In my view the venom on show against Robins is really disappointing.

Doesn’t matter what reason or thought you put up to support the stance that now isn’t the right time to sack him, you’re then just promptly told you’re saying he’s “blameless”.

But let's be real , fans at the time were happy that the club prioritised the cup with a small depleted squad and now are bring it up because it suits the narrative ?

Another weird thing
I think it’s more most assumed it was too do with the cup run and are now concerned that instead of seemingly getting better now the cup is over, it’s seemed to continue.

Blaming the FA Cup when performances had started to dip from the PNE home game onwards

Yeah I hear you on this. I think the issue is, you see so much it’s Doug fault, the new coaches fault or the performance directors, people just dog pile anyone.

Understand his record and history in regards to why people want to keep him.

Last seasons end is absolutely in no way shape or form related to this season.

Feel that’s too easy to say tho especially when we have one of the highest squad retention in the league.

Cracks were showing last year and don’t seem to have been addressed. After all it doesn’t live in a bubble, players carry through seasons.

When asked about dovin , Robins said " apparantly he's a good keeper "

If you think robins is identifying and signing these players , I've got some magic beans to sell you

He might be saying yes or no , but let's be honest most of the work is done by recruitment and that will still happen should Robins leave
So if he's saying yes or no it's down to him isn't it ?

Our form was tremendous up until we started going deeper into the cup with a small squad .. that's something you can't argue against because it's in black and white

And I get that but the same issues we had against QPR last game are the same we currently have.

The silly goals have been happening since the 5th round and we’ve struggled to score. At some point it can’t just be fatigue

Why would he not trust the people in charge of identifying the players ?
It was you that said that he's saying yes or no not me. If this is the case then it is obviously down to him if a player is signed I totally understand your reasons for standing by MR . Just to clarify are you of the opinion that he is blameless for the poor start to the season ?

The squad still lacks experience and proper leaders .

That has to be addressed whoever is in charge

100% and said so above, all though we still had leaders through that patch with Kelly and godden.

But it paints a picture when is the same issues plaguing the squad and while I don’t blame Robins 100% he is paid very well to resolve them either via tactics or coaching

And we've got no reason to trust he won't sort it out .

He appointed the head of recruitment, he has the final say on transfers ( his words, not mine ) , he coaches the team, he selects the team, he selects the formation, he decides the subs, etc etc

If you don’t think Robins is accountable then im
Lost for words.
I've not said he isn't accountable you clown. He's not solely accountable is what I'm saying. The cost of the squad is literally fuck all to do with him.

I suspect at the moment a large majority of fans still back Robins. That may change quite quickly if we enter the relegation zone for a few weeks.
My main problem with him is he still does not to know his best 11 and best style of play. His chopping and changing just drains confidence even further.
With the wiping away the tears thing I hope we are not entering the Micky Adams cupping his ear and 'you don't know what you're doing' phase....

Haji wright did miss a great chance but scored a legitimate goal that was chalked.. simms time and time again let's his side down

He's not scored in almost 80% of his league matches
The difference between Wright and Simms is night and day, the latter is barely involved in games. Whereas Wright always, even when not in form, offers a meaningful threat.

Personally, I think Simms needs a prolonged spell out of the team, perhaps even put him out on loan.

I hope so, would love to be wrong but I just think it’s getting away from him. Think he’s struggling with the man management of a younger squad who are failing so below club expectations without the leaders to help him on and off the pitch

Simms let’s be honest has been atrocious - he has as much movement as a lamppost.

Wright at least has real talent, pace and movement.

Simms frankly this season has been a disgrace.

Enough for relegation to be acceptable?

A relegation battle isn't even acceptable.i
Don’t think anyone would accept relegation, realistically unless we’re battered by Luton and QPR, he’s got imo until November to show he can get a tune out of the players he has

He's done enough here over the years to drown out the cries of desperately sad fans that had almost 17 continuous shit years before him

End of story

I genuinely think you’d be surprised how fickle fans are. They’d move on very quickly.

Surprising he's done enough, now we are doing shit he barely has any responsibility as it's Doug / Scouts / Coaches at fault?

Does that include when he fucked us off for Huddersfield?
