Simms and Wright (2 Viewers)

What? Palmer started 21 games last season and was brought on in every other game he wasn’t injured for bar one.
Kasey Palmer was substituted in 11 of those 21 games and got five assists in the Championship season. It's as embarrassing to claim Palmer fed Simms as it is to claim that Simms is out of form.

Simms fed off palmer ? Palmer was never a regular starter , so I don’t think you can use that argument, I think we just have to accept that simms is just lazy and I can’t see him changing.
Why is it always the black players that are described by some as lazy And the white players are just shit or having a bad game.

Seriously though the last few weeks Ive heard Simms and Wright called lazy.
last season people calling Palmer lazy. The season before that Norton Cuffy described as lazy not to mention hearing fans home and away shouting you lazy c**t to Wright and Simms.
Are they genuinly lazy or is it just a word used toward black players having a poor game as opposed to the other abuse used towards other players who some see as under performing ?

We've done it a million times, in some cases it's definitely slightly racist and frankly not true of most players. There a very few players who I've watched who I'd describe as 'lazy'.
Atm if someone were to describe Simms as lazy I wouldn't bat an eyelid though, he's playing like he can't be arsed. I do think he'll turn it around in time but I'd take him out of the team for a bit.

Simms is lazy Wright stands and watches so he is classed as lazy nothing to do with colour of there skin why do people always try and bring skin colour into everything.Does BTA gets classed as lazy no because he puts twice the amount of effort in as these two combined from what I have seen this season.

Not sure what Wright stands and watches even means tbh. He's been our most threatening player again this season, although its a fucking low bar.

I mean I've seen him no end of times standing on the edge of the box watching us trying to defend and he just seems a bit miffed on what he should be doing.Agree he probably has done better than most this season, just hope they start all playing well at the same time and it finally clicks. If we lose tonight at Saturday I think MR will be gone sadly.

Simms problem for me is his total lack of aggression on the field.
Correct loved him knocking Doyle in the net,but then went and shook his hand to apologise didn't see Doyle doing that to Saka after his tackle. MR keeps saying we don't put a glove on our opponents and that to me is the problem we come across a very soft touch unlike when Fadz was here.We need a Doyle type player who can't put it about.Dont think Barry Bannan even got tackled when we played Sheffield Wednesday.

That’s fine. But to claim he wasn’t a starter when he started almost half our games is silly.

I haven't claimed that. But it's a fact that Palmer assisted Simms once in an entire Championship season. We don't miss Palmer, and Simms won't get us out of trouble.

Wright is fine, one of the best forwards in the division and it is criminal how many games he hasn't started for us. His excellent finish on Saturday for the disallowed goal showed how good he is.

I hear the arguments that we don't make any chances for Simms, and that's true to an extent, but strikers need to create chances through movement. Even in Godden's poor runs of form he'd usually get on the end of a chance or have a shot on goal from inside the area, we just do not see that with Simms.

Simms has fluffed 4 or 5 good chances this season already so I don't put that as lack of chances created for him

In recent games I can barely remember him having an effort towards goal. He's not really had gilt edged chances this season but has fluffed the better ones that have come his way. He is just not involved enough all round.

Yeah just like when he started the move for Thorp’s disallowed goal on the edge of our area. Anyone who thinks he’s lazy is just clueless.

Some geek did a survey on how often black players were called lazy compared with white players obviously balanced out for the number of each player in any given team. The result was over whelming that the black players suffered the accusation rather that their white counterparts. Clearly, there is an unconscious and on occasion deliberate bias against black players.

I can't ever remember anyone calling BNC lazy, I didn't think he was very good, but never lazy.

Wright frustrates the fuck out of me.
He is a big lad but is so weak on the ball 99% of the time and pulls out of challenges over and over.
