We are away mateWe’ll win this one comfortably I reckon, one of the easiest opponents so far and we’re at home, I’ll say 2-0.
Still would like to see 4-4-2 at some point, really not sure we have to resort to a back 5 again, particularly against QPR. Robins just needs to sort the midfield out in the 4-3-3 and we’ll play better I’m sure.
I’d go 4-1-2-3 with:
Dovin
Van Ewijk, Thomas, Binks, Dasilva
Torp, Sheaf, Rudoni
Saka/Asante, Wright, Bassette
Have we moved to Loftus Road ?We’ll win this one comfortably I reckon, one of the easiest opponents so far and we’re at home, I’ll say 2-0.

Sorry sorry was getting mixed up with the Luton fixture, I had it in my head we were at home for some reasonWe are away mate
I’ll quickly edit that bit out…Have we moved to Loftus Road ?
Might need some shots on target for a change if we're to win this. We’ll win this one comfortably I reckon, one of the easiest opponents so far, I’ll say 2-0.

Shouldn't that also be down to the manager?Someone else now needs to step up and demand more from their colleagues on the pitch.
Remember last season when everyone was saying all the new signings are rubbish? How did that pan out?More paranoia from the people making any excuse for the manager I'd say.
The owner has fucked it.
All the coaches are rubbish.
Recruitment team aren't fit for purpose.
We've wasted £45 million on shite players.
All this is paranoid.
I think you've misunderstood my point hahaRemember last season when everyone was saying all the new signings are rubbish? How did that pan out?
I think it's far too early to say we've wasted money on awful players.
I would agree on the first point though. Looking like a big error by Doug King
I would disagree. I mean, I agree it's not the major problem, but what is, is the lack of consistency within the playing squad and the underperforming of them.I think you've misunderstood my point haha
I don't think the playing squad is a major problem.
Sheaf has looked miles off it to be honest. Only Eccles has performed out of any of the central midfielders this season.I would disagree. I mean, I agree it's not the major problem, but what is, is the lack of consistency within the playing squad and the underperforming of them.
Saka hasn't looked the same player, Sheaf still doesn't look match fit, Wright is all over the place and one good game is swiftly followed by a completely inept one and Rudoni disappears for huge chunks of games. EMC just hasn't fired at all.
Add to that the lack of concentration at the back and giving soft goals away, you can see why we are having such problems.
The one main thing with the playing squad is the failure to bring in another central midfielder.
Sheaf gets injured again and we are in huge trouble.
Someone else now needs to step up and demand more from their colleagues on the pitch.

if we get overrun and can't get the ball how do we hoof it forwards Mike Bassett?just hoof it up! chase everything down, I like our normal "play it out" approach, but even that's failing us and we seem to be incapable of 5 yard passes sometimes, ball over top, run onto it, got to be worth a go!
The manager can only do so much even on the sideline. If heads drop, a player needs to go to the squad and pick them up. After all without Goalie injuries, Robins only gets half time to get them all together.Shouldn't that also be down to the manager?
Didn’t Bassette do that and got dropped straight away for being gobby? Robins needs to start laying the law down, both with players and coaches and let everyone know who’s the boss of the team. If anyone can’t accept that, fuck em off!Hoping for a win, expect a draw.
No idea what formation we'll use. We clearly haven't stumbled upon the right one yet.
We miss AV, clearly, but also the loss of the old guard like Matty Godden has impacted too. His football wasn't Championship standard any more, but his mentality was. Someone else now needs to step up and demand more from their colleagues on the pitch.
...so what goes on the rest of the week? The manager can only do so much even on the sideline. If heads drop, a player needs to go to the squad and pick them up. After all without Goalie injuries, Robins only gets half time to get them all together.
Why doesn’t Robins play Thomas in the centre of a back 3, seeing that Lati plays right back a lot? Putting your smallest centre back in the middle doesn’t make sense to me. It was Lati’s lack of height that caused him to flick on the cross to Preston’s player on Saturday.
That was a set piece and all of them should of been informed who they pick up ( makes you wonder though)Why doesn’t Robins play Thomas in the centre of a back 3, seeing that Lati plays right back a lot? The manager will be working with them with coaches. I thought we were talking about in games though as this seems to be the issue. It’s hard to build confidence with young players and like against Preston one silly mistake at a corner and heads drop. Robins is trying to get them more confident but is having a difficult time of it....so what goes on the rest of the week?
Personally, I think it's a wider issue and not just during games. The manager will be working with them with coaches. I thought we were talking about in games though as this seems to be the issue. Not Robins so can’t comment, but think out the three Joel appears to be the loudest and reads the game the best. Due to that, he can help position Thomas and Binks and not be exposed for his lack of pace which could cause issues if Milan loses the ball high up the pitch. Why doesn’t Robins play Thomas in the centre of a back 3, seeing that Lati plays right back a lot? Fair enough, can’t really comment on that was just noting that importance of leaders on the pitch who can raise heads when something silly happens.Personally, I think it's a wider issue and not just during games.
It panned out quite badly actually. We were the second worst form team in the league over the last 8 games of the season which has continued into this season.Remember last season when everyone was saying all the new signings are rubbish? How did that pan out?

Tactically yes and I’ve put across my viewpoints on the tactics this year. But more on morale there is only so much you can do on the touchline. You can’t exactly run on the pitch and turn someone’s head. This is why experience is key in every side. This is wrong though isn't it and part of why we keep seeing other teams tactically outdo us.
Robins can do plenty from the sidelines ffs.
