Nothing there. Nothing to suggest any recovery either. We've exhausted all the excuses, the transfer business over the last 12 months will haunt us for years. Spent all the money and left with shite. Hey ho time to change expectations as we are back to 2020-21

Quarter of the season gone

Relegation zone

Not played any of the 'big hitters' bar Leeds

£45 million spent to go from 5th, to 22nd.

It's beyond a slow start now. We are terrible, devoid of anything, a mess, nothing positive and we are in trouble 100%
Remind me as can’t be bothered to find it, was it if Robins lost or didn’t win?

A lot on that pitch don't want it enough.

If we get dragged into a relegation battle, we are in trouble.

A quarter of the season gone, and we look rudderless. I'm struggling to see how we turn this around, unless the almost unthinkable becomes, well, thinkable.

A lot calling for the manager to go. I think the scarier truth is these players may be no good.

His players though

This was a very poor QPR side. We don’t look a patch on our last couple of seasons. Management structure appalling now, dreadful signings. City suffer and Dougs plan in tatters !

The players just look totally bereft of confidence.

Jury out on some of the new signings sure, but we know that Wright, Sakamoto, MVE, Sheaf etc are good players. They don't look like it right now.

'kin overreactions on here. What's the matter with you lot. You'd have thought we'd lost 3-0 if you read the last couple of pages on here.

We've had a relatively easy start to the season and we're third bottom.

What do you think will happen when we start playing the better teams?

We don't play a formation with positions for saka and emc currently tbf

Too many wasters in the squad have probably demoralised them. We are not making 50 points at this rate.

No leader on the pitch. Sheaf isn't an organiser or has fire in his belly to get the others going.
I know Torp doesn't get much game time but he was always shouting and pointing out the play. Can't think of any others who could lead on the pitch.

I don’t get how, we can take an early lead and then do next to nothing to build on it.

Then we concede a shit goal, and sit on it. No impetus, no drive, no belief. No tactical dynamism.

I can’t see where this recovery will materialise from. These players do not have it in them.

Da Silva is clueless and in recent games Van Ewijk isn't much better. Van Ewijk often recovers from poor defending by his pace. But he lapses too often. But Da Silva really is clueless as a defender and that is his main job.

Sheaf looked a bit better tonight.

At least we got an away point which is never a disastrous point. It's a starting point and form always turns around slowly.

Last two games there has been signs of some improvement, but confidence looks so Fragile.

Agreed, I don't think changing the manager is miraculously going to get a tune out of this shower of shit.

Hopefully we're not already marooned at the bottom of the table when the January transfer window opens, we need at least 3 experienced signings to settle the ship.

No movement up front when in possession around the box or overlaps down the sides. Midfielders not wanting to break the lines with either a through ball or breaking into space. We desperately need some creativity or this season's going to be rough old ride.

Not sure if this counts as negative but thought second half we were in control. Dovin makes a howler, Simms doesn’t make a pass and suddenly we’re back to where we are.

Fine margins

Yeah, I thought we were looking reasonably tidy too. Starting to look confident, moving the ball quickly, but not offering much threat. Then one, crappy, bouncing shot and it all falls apart.

At least we didn't lose.

Seems to be the pattern that we concede when we are in control of the game. Surely that is a concentration issue.
Think Torp needs a bit of a run in the starting line up. Looked good again.
Don't get how Simms comes on ahead of Bassette, after his Preston performance.
Van Erwijk another poor performance. What's happened to him? Saito made him look slow and clumsy at times and his use of ball was so poor.

Can't see how the horrendous atmosphere on here doesn't change unless we keep winning matches.

Even if we won tonight and lost against Luton we'd still be having the same conversations.

I said I'd stay away and in fairness I should have , can't see me having much in common with most on here over the coming weeks
