Simms was a handful all game.
Simms and Wright down the channels caused them issues.
Torp was much better suited to that position compared to sakamoto.
Dovin good save
Defence shocking still though.

Take the 3 points all day though 😍😍

You honestly think Thomas and Binks as bad as Kitching? And I thiught MVE challenged for motm. Strange how some see it. Think @Blind-Faith has it much closer.

Lati 8 thought he was really good getting tight and aggressive with their forwards
Thomas 7
Binks 7 point off for their goal but to be fair he did well driving forward second half
MVE 8 constant outlet
Kitching 6 obviously not his position, didn't do anything especially wrong just didn't look right
Sheaf 8 showed great leadership
Eccles 7 worked tirelessly
Sakamoto 6 helped to open up angles and kept the ball moving
Wright 8 constant threat
Simms 8 great running the channels and everything we need

Subs
Rudoni 9, he was excellent and showed his quality, is this one of those accidental moments that turns a season?
Torp 8 great goal and one great first time ball, worry about his physicality but he's a good footballer

Ah here we go, you likely rate him 8/10 because he charges up the pitch, just like he did against QPR to charge in on the half way line, and left a huge gap which was then exploited for their goal

He is a fucking defender who cannot defend!! Lost his man for their second goal.

But he is the golden boy so seemingly cannot be criticised. ONE clean sheet in the whole of the time he has been here since last August, is it 23 league matches now?

My view of his, and the whole of the defence’s, performance is not clouded by the final score. Defence was bad all game, only improving slightly, ironically, when a midfielder came into the back line

Still more work needed with the defence but Binks stood up well second half and I thought Lati was good all game , he loves a tackle doesn't he?
Been calling for Torp to play 10 for a while and he made a huge difference with his movement and interplay.
Wright and Simms were a handful all game against a physical backline .
Sheaf rightly MotM , getting back to his very best with every game

Binks was fabulous going forward in the second half. Obviously not as strong in terms of defensive duties.

No not at 8.....but defo not 5
I had him as a 7....2nd half a lot of our outlet was down to him driving us up the pitch by 20 yards each time and giving Rudoni an easy half as he never had to drop deep to defend. Binks also won plenty in the air too.

Dovin 7 - Good saves in the second half to keep us in it
Lati 8 - Showed good leadership and was strong throughout
Thomas 7 - Decent enough
Binks 7.5 - Think he was actually really good today
MVE 7.5 - Much better than versus QPR
Kitching 6.5 - Hard to mark due to his strange position on the pitch, did alright I think...
Sheaf 7 Generally solid, did some things very well, but cannot shoot
Eccles 7 worked very hard. Not everything came off either. Went unnoticed, but his ball out when we should have got the 4th was class
Sakamoto 6.5 - Drop half a point for the penalty giveaway. Hopefully will click for him soon as he is a great player. Saw a bit in flashes today
Wright 8.5 - MOTM. A terror for the opposition the whole game
Simms 8 - Best game in ages. Great goal as well

Subs
Rudoni & Torp 8 - Both were the difference for me when they came on. Torp is really trying to make a point at the moment. That finish is something we needed badly. Never going to happen but would play both of them in midfield next game with Eccles.

Overall this game was fucking massive. To come back in the way we did might just be the kick up the arse we need to move on this season. Absolutely delighted this afternoon with that! Quite proud actually as I think we really worked for it and therefore deserved it.

Rudoni has a decent final ball/delivery on him which we've seen from the start of the season. We got to utilise it today but not sure it's a long term solution/position for him.

Good point on Rudoni, it looks like it doesn't it. Gives us attacking wing backs and another player who's comfortable in possession whilst allowing Torp in the 10 role.

…you’d drop Sheaf?? 🤔

He was also more vocal. More than once I saw him demanding more from the midfield in needing to give him options moving out of the press.
I think for all the criticism he gets on here he's been one of our better players this season . He isn't blessed with loads of natural ability but he's combative and plays with passion and ,like you said, he leads well on the pitch
Time for some to cut him some slack

I know everyone's opinions differ but you thought Lati was the worst of our back 3 today?
I thought he was the only one who showed up defensively all game
It was mainly because I felt he was a bit too ponderous on the ball at times. He was out of position for the penalty leaving a massive gap; and then he came miles out to press for the second, and that left the hole for the through ball to be slid into. We're only talking 0.5 of a point difference, it's not like I've given him a 4 or something.

The first goal was a combination of MvE and Lati getting in each others way . To blame him for the second is a bit of a stretch to be honest , Binks didn't track his man .
I do agree he isn't comfortable in possession at times though
