Great first season, very much hoping for a second. Seems to have been a surprise hit, in as much as a series on Apple TV can be a hit when they never promote them and hardly anyone has the service.
Has the feel of White Lotus about it.

Watching Como 1907.
A decent football documemtary although the first episode is a bit of a PR jaunt to America.
Dennis Wise is (was) a Director there and Fabregas the now Head Coach.
Interesting how the players have bonded together and taken the fans with them.
Felt like our story until this season!

Just finished Sweetpea. If there’s a 2nd series she will be a busy girl 1st episode.

Just started Generation Z (Channel 4). Not a great first episode, but as it's Ben Wheatley I will persevere.

Been to the picture house to see Venom this afternoon. Honestly, don't fucking bother. It's awful.

More awful than precious Venoms?

you oversold it with not a great first episode, terrible
Yep. Pains me to say it as I'm a fan of Ben Wheatley.

Just watched episode 2, the satire is too heavy and the plot isn't great.

Any recommendations for someone with Netflix and standard streaming only (can't be arsed with a stick)?

Loudermilk is brilliant. been around for a few years, think it started in 2017 and ran for 3 series. Hardly anyone watched it on TV but its been a sleeper hit on Netflix to the point there's now talk of a new series.

Just finished watching Fiasco which is decent if you're ok with subtitles as it's French. Only 7 episodes and it's a standalone thing, no plans for anymore to be made.

Where's Wanda on AppleTV is brilliant, although you need to watch it with subtitles, accidentally watched a bit of the dubbed version and it was terrible. Normally not to had to find a 3 month free trial and there's some decent stuff on there. Defiantly quality over quantity.

Been watching " Disclaimer" it's really good.
Could have warned us though.

We have a large TV and as people walk past our house, they can clearly see the TV screen.

No idea what people would have made of the graphic sex scene, as they glanced on their way past.

It is very good though.

I have just got into Tulsa King. Very good. I was reticent, because I really don't like Sylvester Stallone, but have to say he's very good in this

I saw Smile 2 last night and enjoyed it. Not as good as the first film, but some of the jump scares proper got me
Thought the main actor was really good.

Spoiler alert..

How much of it was actual, and how much was imagined?

My guess was that the first meeting with Morris (think that was his name?) was real, and it was from around when all the dancers were in her apartment, but it isn't very clear.
The ending definitely makes a potential sequel interesting!

Yeah, I think she should win some kind of award for the role. Even just for the amount of water she had to down!

It's just the ending. What's the point?

I know it's a horror and not true to life but it's like a child just made up a random ending.

Prince and The Revolution: Live: www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/m001mpgh via @bbciplayer

I must admit, I was somewhat on the fence about Prince.

But after watching this, fucking hell, the man was a genius.

The bastard son of Freddie Mercury and Brian May.
Godparents: Liberace and James Brown.

Wife didn’t last half an episode so that kaiboshed that 😂
Yeah, but instead of changing.channels, you could have changed your wife.

Sometimes you have to really sit down and think. What do I value the most, your wife or your TV?

For the second one? I enjoyed the ending, but as soon as I saw the trailer I assumed that's what they were going to do.
I don't think it was random.

Spoilers:
I guess they were trying to show that neither character could really escape their life trauma/guilt and in the end, it always was going to catch up with them.

If they do another film though, I think eventually someone will manage to beat it

I guess it was because it just decided to jump from here, there, over there, into here, back to there and BAM shes here.
