Not the point but surely getting regularly pegged would reduce the strength of your ring not make it out of steel?

Yeah I did consider that tbf but then I also thought maybe the ring would firm up over time? Like how copper works-hardens the more you use it. I’m not sure which way it would go tbh, I’ll have to try it out for myself 🤔😂

Also as you constantly point out last season doesn’t count

It doesn’t, and I doubt anyone would have paid much attention to this stat if it weren’t for the fact that people such as your good self have been ramming down people’s throats that the last 9 months have been utter shite, and all the other constantly negative bollocks.

Where have I said the last nine months have been shite? Don’t make things up.

Most of the criticism was about playing 4 CBs, which didn’t work and one was hooked at HT.

Playing Liam Kitching at wing back is objectively hilarious and in true Kitching fashion his only contribution there was a needless booking for clocking someone.
Not really, it prevented them going long to wide areas and sticking Adebayo and/or Morris on our smallest player to easily get up to pitch and create chances which they have done to us before. Both goals came from the other side

Yup. It did work, because we were well on top. We used it to counter Luton and that worked. It just worked better when Rudoni came on.

I don't see why Kitching at LWB was hilarious either.

Robins said he had played there before and had experience of the position.🤷

Brilliant three points on Saturday, very much needed, but more importantly very well deserved.

I thought from the first minute we looked better than Luton and it was only through an error from Saka and defensive frailties that we gave Luton an undeserved lead.

All that being said the lads pulled through and got the win and ultimately a lot of that came down to the way Robins set us up (which I thought with the two up top we looked better) and even the timing of the subs and the subs themselves made a real impact on the game.

What’s important now is that the team go on a five to ten game unbeaten streak, don’t lose, just pick up points, ideally as many wins as possible and start breaching that gap to those in front.

If the team and manager can start pulling us towards the right end of the table, playing like they did Saturday I will be first to say I was harsh for quickly calling for the managers head.

Right now however it’s been one game and one result, need to see more to convince me we’ve turned a corner and getting back on the right track. Some good teams coming up so it’s a test of how far we are off the better teams in this division.

On a side note I’ve missed three home games this season and our results in those games, yeah you guessed it WWW. Maybe I need to stay away more often 😂🤷‍♂️

Both spot on and shows the lack of footballing intelligence of some people here that they couldnt see that.
All of the chat in this bucket (CBs cant play at LB, MUST pick same starting 11 consistently, players should be able to play two full 90mins in one week, not starting a game means he’s been dropped) is so fucking outdated its boring.

Literally no one said any of those things. Nice try though.

This forum loses its shit if anyone plays outside of the very narrowly defined role they have in their head for that player. They wouldn’t have lasted five minutes in the 90s.
The famously fluid and tactically flexible football of the 90s

Not about the tactics. Dublin and Chris Sutton alone would have caused a full scale meltdown. Let alone Henry
Would love to know at what point a sweeper became a ball playing centre half. The litmus test for any of the ‘ave it school of management.

Have always backed robins and always will, not getting too carried away after 1 result but we’re on the way, said from the start of the season we haven’t had a season start where there hasn’t been any issues, this season we’ve had palmer leaving last min ,viveash leaving in the summer, new coaching staff, new back room staff, sheaf injured, was always going to take time to settle down, which made all the calls for robins to be sacked very over the top,
