Definitely need to go all out against Derby, win that and Sunderland would then be a free hit. Players will have had a good amount of time to recover for the Derby game, we'll need to make the changes for the Sunderland game as it's a quick turnaround from Wednesday night to Saturday.A brilliant comeback and now a convincing win with a clean sheet. That dark cloud that had been hanging over the players should be a lot clearer now. They should have some confidence that they can go and beat Derby.
I think beating Boro takes a little bit of pressure off this game. 4 points would have been a good return from these 2 but there is no reason we can't win.
The talk of resting players for Saturday is crazy. 2 games ago, Robins job was apparently on the line, he isn't going to risk giving the boo boys ammunition. The odds of getting points against Derby at home are better than Sunderland away. We need to pick them up wherever we can and not be arrogant to think that we can just walk over them. They have been better than us so far this season (their home form anyway) and Robins won't underestimate them.
I wouldn't mind seeing Saka start he had a big influence in the second halfSuspect we’ll start Saka and bring Torp on as they’re probably the two biggest fitness concerns playing three times in a week and they share that role well
It's horses for courses, Derby a different outfit and will not look to play out from the back in the same way. I'd start Simms if fit.I think it’s mental people want to start Simms instead of BTA after yesterday. Simms is a better finisher undoubtedly but BTA works very hard on the press and non stop hounds their defenders. Not only does he get chances off this for himself but a fair few chances yesterday for others as a result, including being involved with Eccles goal
I’d stick with him
The games were only about 9 months apart weren't theyWe put 6 past them two years running at home, just looked back and it was Wise’s first game
Yep, the goal we concede is brilliant. Big Dele on one of his unplayable daysThe games were only about 9 months apart weren't they

John was quality, he was yet another player marked down as 'lazy' because he didn't run around like a headless chicken like the fans' favourite.quote 'after the poor start to the season'
Stern John moved more for those two goals than the whole season
Yeah but what's the commentator suggesting for the second?John was quality, he was yet another player marked down as 'lazy' because he didn't run around like a headless chicken like the fans' favourite.
Dropped his wallet onto his foot when out on the piss Friday night causing severe bruising. Should be fit for Saturday. His injury didn’t sound too bad.
He should start if fit, twice now he’s got a goal and not started the next game.
Good thing is so do Sunderland. Plus they won’t have Jobe available against us. Hopefully we have a 2 goal cushion vs Derby early to be able to rest, rotate players. Players like Simms, Bassette, Saka, EMC, Da Silva, Kitching who played little or not at all on Sat will need to step up and contribute on Wed.We play on Wednesday..
You know what that means...Worth noting that Derby have struggled badly away from home so far this season. P7 W0 D2 L5.
You know what that means...
Nah, 1-0 Derby after we've dominated and they score in the last 10 mins with an Ayari-esque goal.4-0 Derby
Unless they've got a couple of 10 hour flights and an international to play.Alternatively with an international break coming you can put out your strongest team in both games and have the players who need rest get it next week.
Being the pessimist that i am that also means they are due a winWorth noting that Derby have struggled badly away from home so far this season. P7 W0 D2 L5.
Just flicked through their forum and can't recall many more pessimistic opposition fans
Really wouldn’t start Wright. Fed up of him looking like he’s not arsed after scoring yet again for us. Lazy fucker blew a kiss to their fans but not ours. Says a lot. Hopefully Norman starts (because he moans at people) alongside BTA the real life pro clubs player.
Our recent record against Derby is fairly decent, lost 1 out of the last 9 winning 4 of themWe rarely beat Derby.
Wouldn’t surprise me that we pick up an unconvincing point on Weds, and beat Sunderland on Sat.
It’s not like they have to ride their bikes to SunderlandDerby at home Wednesday night then less than 3 days later the long journey up to Sunderland. I'd rest any players we can against Derby. Have them on the bench just in case we need them. We need a full strength side more against Sunderland than Derby. And we have more than capable replacements.
Just realised every time we’ve won this year we’ve scored three goals.3-1
Same time with Simms in for BTA hopefully.
Norman to break his duck off the bench
