long way home

You never know with Robins but im sure if Simms is fit he will come into the squad. If not same squad as Boro with the same starting line up. Ideally be comfortable enough to make wholesale changes come 65 mins to keep plenty of fresh legs for Saturday.

3 pts injury free game would be brilliant.

A brilliant comeback and now a convincing win with a clean sheet. That dark cloud that had been hanging over the players should be a lot clearer now. They should have some confidence that they can go and beat Derby.

I think beating Boro takes a little bit of pressure off this game. 4 points would have been a good return from these 2 but there is no reason we can't win.

The talk of resting players for Saturday is crazy. 2 games ago, Robins job was apparently on the line, he isn't going to risk giving the boo boys ammunition. The odds of getting points against Derby at home are better than Sunderland away. We need to pick them up wherever we can and not be arrogant to think that we can just walk over them. They have been better than us so far this season (their home form anyway) and Robins won't underestimate them.

Definitely need to go all out against Derby, win that and Sunderland would then be a free hit. Players will have had a good amount of time to recover for the Derby game, we'll need to make the changes for the Sunderland game as it's a quick turnaround from Wednesday night to Saturday.

Suspect we’ll start Saka and bring Torp on as they’re probably the two biggest fitness concerns playing three times in a week and they share that role well
I wouldn't mind seeing Saka start he had a big influence in the second half

We should be beating these really. I watched their game vs Stoke on the weekend and they were all over the place defensively and the scoreline flattered to deceive. In reality a better side would stuck 4 or 5 past them.

Their Midfield is poor so we need to look at pressing and exploiting through the middle - this is the area where they looked most vulnerable on Saturday.

I think it’s mental people want to start Simms instead of BTA after yesterday. Simms is a better finisher undoubtedly but BTA works very hard on the press and non stop hounds their defenders. Not only does he get chances off this for himself but a fair few chances yesterday for others as a result, including being involved with Eccles goal

I’d stick with him
It's horses for courses, Derby a different outfit and will not look to play out from the back in the same way. I'd start Simms if fit.

same XI assuming no new niggles.

Another week off for them after these 2 games so no need for resting and nor should we

carry on performances of last 2 games and it'll be 3 points

We play on Wednesday..
Good thing is so do Sunderland. Plus they won’t have Jobe available against us. Hopefully we have a 2 goal cushion vs Derby early to be able to rest, rotate players. Players like Simms, Bassette, Saka, EMC, Da Silva, Kitching who played little or not at all on Sat will need to step up and contribute on Wed.

I think our momentum will carry into this one. Easy Sky Blues victory.

Really wouldn’t start Wright. Fed up of him looking like he’s not arsed after scoring yet again for us. Lazy fucker blew a kiss to their fans but not ours. Says a lot. Hopefully Norman starts (because he moans at people) alongside BTA the real life pro clubs player.

Mental, Our fans a, Haji Wright top scorer last season and we'll be the top scorer this season.

Derby at home Wednesday night then less than 3 days later the long journey up to Sunderland. I'd rest any players we can against Derby. Have them on the bench just in case we need them. We need a full strength side more against Sunderland than Derby. And we have more than capable replacements.
It’s not like they have to ride their bikes to Sunderland
