We were playing against Derby County at home in front of 27 thousand fans and "we got the tactics wrong" it's not fucking good enough. Not only that but we were fucking shit. It took being 2-0 down until we tried to force the game. It's not good enough, tactically, performances and recruitment the whole lot has been dreadful.

Where was our tactical superiority in a game like tonight ?
We looked like a Sunday league side , instead of a multi million pound set up , with 9 boys in blue + Robins on the touch line .

Something drastic has to take place , as I thought after the Leeds debacle heads would roll , but tonight was a pathetic attempt from everyone, against a league 1 team at best .

This crop of players haven't done anything, we have continously lost key player after key player Gyok, Hamer, O'Hare and we have invested poorly. Specifically Hamer and O'Hare, we haven't replaced, we then loose Kasey Palmer.

We spent ridiculous sums of money bringing in Kitching, Rudoni, Mason Clarke and Asante and they don't look anywhere near the level our Chairman Doug King projected on us fans.

The team is nowhere near good enough to compete for promotion, they look like they haven't got a fight in them, and you can't blame them, I blame the recruitment staff for there woeful work, the in game tactics are consistently not up to scratch,

but most of all Doug King for creating this nonsense agenda at the beginning of the season "dream big shite' which resulted in thousands of supporters buying promotion packages etc, only for us to have regressed.

Bassette, Mason Clarke, Asante were all signed when we already had Wright, Simms, Sakamoto and Tavares.

We were crying out for a centre midfielder, left back and a centre back with actual quality.

This isn't a recruitment team that has a clue.

We didn’t batter them. They’re a newly promoted side who were on course for their first away win of the season. They had no interest in doing anything but defending for the last 15 minutes and we mustered up I think 2 decent chances.

They sat back, were happy to let Thomas come out with the ball. He does it too slowly and isn't comfortable taking the space in front of him. It slowed our game down. On that subject, the referee let them waste a good 20 minutes of the game over throw ins and goal kicks. 2 minutes added time in the first half was laughable. Took that long celebrating their goal. Don't blame teams for doing it, but it's up to officials to deal with it. He didn't- causing much frustration, when added to our lack of nous.

It’s interesting. For me, once we changed the formation we didn’t look much different than the first half v Luton. And many salivated over that. Agree the first half and some of the second was dire. But last half hour we did batter them.
