God damn, I'm not really sure how to react. I'm just stunned. This isn't a day I ever thought would happen

It will hurt for a while, but this is for the best. As the statement says and taking emotion out of it, the performances have simply not been good enough.

8 defeats in 11 at home. Dreadful.
Only a handful of wins since last spring.

Very surprised by this and guessing there’s more to it (like with Viveash). The players effort and intensity in the first half was poor which was bizarre after two good wins

I don't want someone running my football club to make decisions based on how football fans feel. That's how you get Andy Thorn as your manager.

That is true. The fact is Robins has had a poor end of season and we look like a relegation threatened team.

The statement seems a bit cold but I suppose there is little else that can be said.

“The Club will take its time to appoint a successor to Mark, although the position will be that of Head Coach working within the new structure set up by the Club over the last two years.”

this is as I predicted. robins was never Doug’s man

Surely Doug has someone already lined up. It can't be a knee jerk reaction to last night after 2 previous wins.

Yessir.

Only alternative would've been some kind of 'shift upstairs' but I don't see MR being into that. Damn shame.

Great , and now the next appointment is critical and will show how much doug king wants to be a serious club , because if we appoint a gary Rowett then I'm afraid we will be going backwards

It was clear something wasn't working but I'm far from certain Robins was the issue. Even if he was, who is there better out there who would want the job.
Feels knee jerk given the slight upturn in form

I wonder if another has been sound out
I really hope you're right about an appointment lined up otherwise this feels like totally the wrong time.

Can’t see this ending well. The majority of fans didn’t want this. Going to be a hostile atmosphere unless the new manager gets off to a flier.

MR deserves a fucking statue

The majority will not care either way

Poor motivation last night after a good result against Luton and a win at the weekend, where in honesty we didn't look good for most of the second half. Equal points bottom 3.. football is ruthless ..Very important now we get the right person regardless of budget.
