The whole infrastructure let him down, from the players upward.

Hope captain Ben is feeling happier now, that the shouty staff have all left, and only George and Rhys are left to stroke his little ego, now.

As captain, he should be ashamed of himself, he’s meant to be the managers voice on that field, and he only turns up when he feels like it! Fuck him, and his puffed up indifference.

Genuinely gutted for him and the club. Stuck by us through thick and thin, he deserved a lot more than this, and certainly more than a sentence of thanks from King.
Genuinely feels a bit dirty supporting the team after this, its like Take That all over again!!

I'm absolutely gutted.....massively the wrong call.

He gave us back respect amongst other teams fan bases...something that money can not buy. We were no longer a club to be laughed at.....already I've had supporters of other teams msging their dis belief of what has happened.

My favourite manager was always Gordon Milne who, without question, nurtured a team that, for two to three years, was one of the best in England .
There is, of course, the great Sillet and Curtis era that brought us our greatest ever success and preceeding all of this, the legendary Jimmy Hill who put Coventry City at the top of the pyramid where we stayed for the next 34 years.

Mark Robins didn't do any of that. He saved us from extinction. He dragged us from the bottom to within a penalty kick off the top division on a shoestring budget. He is a true hero and I will always look out for his results wherever he goes and genuinely hope he is successful.

7 years ago my old man had a heart attack and despite living in London I promised myself I’d start going back to football with him again.

Since then I’ve watched us rise up from nothing to 4 Wembley appearances and the happiness that bloke brought to me and my family is immeasurable, if you don’t truly support a football club you’ll never understand this statement and the vast majority of the public will laugh it off but…

Mark Robins genuinely has delivered some of the greatest moments of my life, the disrespect that after 12 games of a season the egotistical tit can get rid of him is unforgivable.

I don’t see how King wins the fans back around after this and I genuinely think this could be the start of a downward spiral for us.

Mark, if you read this thank you. I don't know where our club would be today with the loyalty you've shown through so many difficult periods. I'm sorry and ashamed we haven't treated you with the same loyalty in return. I have so many great memories of being a Sky Blues fan and you led us for most of them. I hope you will feel able to come back sometime to a packed out place where you can tell us your favourite memories. We'd love a chance to give you the biggest cheer ever, and get you walking in that winter wonderland again. My favourite memory - it's a tough choice - that play off away leg at Notts County when I think the fan/player/staff togetherness was at its height. I have never felt so proud to be a Sky Blue and every time I feel a bit down, I only have to think of that night to smile and want to jump up and down. I think I'll be feeding off that feeling for life. You'll always be a hero around here. Please remember us fans kindly because no-one I have spoken to today wanted this to happen.

best ever memories supporting the club. We’re coventry city not fucking underachieving Man Utd.

We shouldn’t be any higher than our league standings.
Greed has ultimately prevailed
