Robins on cwr (37 Viewers)

led to believe there are ‘ongoing discussions’ around the future of MR at the club and I think his comments are those of someone looking to shift the blame - looks like the Rudoni slice of luck was just that, and MR struggles with ‘horses for courses’ tactics for the team in front of you…

….and I’ll say this until I’m blue in the face and don’t care what the sycophants say, we need a stronger midfield of Sheaf, Torp (at 10) and one other, Eccles playing a long hoof to their keeper with 30 seconds to go is criminal, he’s not the answer

Eccles has been our best player this season (and was again last night). I don't know how anyone can possibly look at these performances and think Eccles is the problem. Absolutely mad.

Also you mention Eccles hoof forward, what about Sheaf picking it up on the edge of the box in a great position in stoppage time and hitting it into the knees of the first man, that was far more criminal.

1) you know fek all about Robins future so don't pretend that you do. I hardly think Doug has shared his thoughts with a gimp like you.
2) he accepted responsibility for tonight and didn't shift the blame on Rudi
3) what coaching badges do you hold to say he's tactically unable to see what's un front of him?
4) you're calling out two of our best performers that really aren't a problem. Of course we could do with another in there, two deals fell through, no point wasting on someone who isn't better
5) err yes I think I understand my own post, but if you want to play top trumps go for it.

1) - perhaps you might consider apologising and admitting I might actually know something, notwithstanding the fact it is disappointing news…?

I knew youd be on here crowing. I'll consider it when you show your UEFA A licence or are you going to admit that's fabrication? Why unless you're in the professional game would you have the time or finance to even get that when it's unnecessary and I'm sure you might have mentioned it before. If you genuinely did know something about an impending departure then King is an even bigger prick for sharing such info before boyh Robins hears it and he has a replacement lined up.

I’m not point scoring, and I’m not explaining to you why I have the qualifications I have, so you either believe it or don’t - no issue to me either way..

I’m also not ‘crowing’ as I personally don’t necessarily agree with the decision, but it is what it is!

There are names in the frame replacement-wise, it’s probably a bit further along than you might think

Think you owe him an apology to be honest mate
For constantly slagging off Eccles which is why I posted it? Not a chance. If a qualified coach that he says he is can't see the merits of Eccles he can swivel.

I have consistently said he is overrated and not captain material. I don't see how it is a sudden surprise for anyone that we lack leadership on the pitch. It has been one of our biggest downfalls this season.

I don't think he should have been given it. He's clearly struggling with it and it's affecting him.
Though there's not exactly a glut of candidates.

Bidwell is a proper leader but you can't be club captain if you're not a definite starter.

Kelly was
Only at the end though. He was made captain after Doyle left when he was a regular. You wouldn't have made him captain on the last couple of years, it would've been Fadz.

Yes we were shit last night, but part of me can't help but be frustrated that we lost due to 1 individual error, and a goal that was so off side that the striker was in a different time zone!

Gutted for MR 😓
Agree but then the overall performance and mentality was poor again.
