Robins has mentioned "Keyboard warriors" on more than one occasionOf course he doesn't 'take advice' from social media, but it creates an environment. People think their negative (even vicious) stuff on the web doesn't filter through to the players, affect their confidence, undermine the manager, or help set the scene for decision-making. I disagree.
The club have put out statements to counter lies spread online such as they are responsible for the road closures after the gamesRobins has mentioned "Keyboard warriors" on more than one occasion
i think he'll take a bit of time outWhen it really will hit home - is when Robins gets another job and is in the dugout against us...
He will be an instant pick for any championship team in need of a manager, and he strikes me as the sort of person who will be keen to get straight back to it.
That will be heartbreaking
Youd think soi think he'll take a bit of time out

Sadly for Robins I don’t think he’ll succeed anywhere else.
Clubs now want an impact manager, which he certainly isn’t. He wouldn’t get the time to build a good team
I think that's a bit of a sweeping statement. He may need to drop to L1 (Wycombe??) but he will be back. Especially if he can team up with Viveash again!Sadly for Robins I don’t think he’ll succeed anywhere else.

you mean an impact like getting promotion in his first full season?
My opinion is, we have made some bad decisions on the staff we have appointed. And we will pay the price.Random.
He wasn't the best manager in the division, clearly.
Is that the performance coach who played for Villa and Swindon (women football granted), who's dad and grandad were both footballers and who worked at the Premier League for 7 years?

I think most fans will always be pretty sad at how robins was let go , many fans still talk about Eric black who did very little for the club as a manager
Most wins by Championship sides since April 2024 won't look as good ...
2nd most wins in 2024 in all comps 🫡

In fairness , he had to build a pretty much new sideWe scrapped into the league 2 playoffs in the last couple of games.
I’m in no way undermining his achievements, but the first half of that season was pretty poor.
Plenty of clubs in league 2 with promotion ambitions would’ve sacked him a few months in

That sacking worked out well didn't it?
This is very reminiscent.
Wonder if someone's in Kings ear like Reid was in McGinnitys?
on not a great deal of moneyIn fairness , he had to build a pretty much new side
Found a way in the end and the only way was up

Even with the terrible form it's not as bad as you think View attachment 39239
If the press release is to be believed, they want a Head Coach reporting to the Performance Director, not a new manager. It might not be down to whoever that is to decide their backroom staff. If they can't work with Dr Roberts, they won't take the job.I’m assuming that this will also be the end of the existing coaching staff as the new manager is likely to want to bring his own people in.
I’m sorry to see MR go but a change in the backroom staff could turn out to be a good thing.
To be fair excluded the 3 teams that came down and the 3 that came upEven with the terrible form it's not as bad as you think
we'd still have 12 games of a full seasons worth of games left View attachment 39240
So 11th out of 18 over the calendar year reallyTo be fair excluded the 3 teams that came down and the 3 that came up
Yes but 42 points with 12 games left of a full seasonTo be fair excluded the 3 teams that came down and the 3 that came up
Be interested to see how many of the 7 below us changed managerSo 11th out of 18 over the calendar year really
What a load of revisionist garbage- the man got us promoted at the first attempt. What else was expected of him?
We could go on to talk about what he did after, but anyway- one thing Robins absolutely did have was an impact. It’s not really up for debate.
Let's see that from after the wolves gameEven with the terrible form it's not as bad as you think
