That’s not very good…?Yes but 42 points with 12 games left of a full season
I would welcome an up & coming Manager playing the style our Wycombe contributor discusses. Surely : The last thing we want is a circuit/celebrity manager. Not many want him, we are happy for you to keep him
A world where promotion is decided after 5 games and unless you’re in the top 2 at that stage you’re sacked. A world where promotion in your first season is not an ‘impact’.
You’re either incredibly dense or just on the wind up, wither way we’ll leave it there I think.
No but not as dramatic as being mentioned .. it includes the form since April 6th .That’s not very good…?
You said it was instant success, now you're backtracking.
Robins built the team up from nothing. That was his achievement. It took time
It took one season.
He did mention that Bloomfield was cut a great deal of slack while rebuilding because of him being a fans' favourite during his playing time with them. You think Doug will allow him that, after today? I don't!I would welcome an up & coming Manager playing the style our Wycombe contributor discusses. Players get managers sacked in this era, I’ve become convinced of that.No but not as dramatic as being mentioned .. it includes the form since April 6th .
Look fact is he deserved longer for most of us you're the type that will forever be wanting managers out at the slightest bad patch .. seen fans like you a million times over usually in the Premier league
Michael skubala at Lincoln has done a better job in a shorter timeNot many want him, we are happy for you to keep him
Yes
Plenty of clubs do not give a manager one season
Absolutely. Look at ten hag. Sacked then utd smash in 5 against Leicester after winning 1 in 8. Looking forward to SunderlandPlayers get managers sacked in this era, I’ve become convinced of that.
I’ve never wanted him out before and would’ve given him till Christmas after the two wins. Just making the point it’s not quite the travesty you’re making it out to be.No but not as dramatic as being mentioned .. it includes the form since April 6th .

Hopefully his name gets sung loudly up there and the players who let him down take note.Absolutely. Look at ten hag. Sacked then utd smash in 5 against Leicester after winning 1 in 8. Looking forward to Sunderland
yes, Robins was a lucky man to last as long as he did, with the lack of impact he had at the club
I feel like I have had a death in the family. Bereaved. A real sense of loss. I felt as though I knew him; sort of knew what he would do next, although often caught me out (see Leeds last season away).
Not quite grief, but a massive hole.
New manager bounce is v common, and players have explained why - need to justify their place to the new man - however it is the long haul that mattersAbsolutely. Look at ten hag. Sacked then utd smash in 5 against Leicester after winning 1 in 8. Looking forward to Sunderland
I felt like I knew what Rudoni was going to do last night. I heard myself say "No".I feel like I have had a death in the family. Bereaved. A real sense of loss. I felt as though I knew him; sort of knew what he would do next, although often caught me out (see Leeds last season away).

You’ve answered the question, DK doesn’t want him here so couldn’t risk him getting a positive result on Saturday, he’s sacked him at the first opportunity after a bad resultLate to these comments, and most have said what I'm thinking, but why tf would you do it before the last game before an international break? Not like anyone else is more likely to come in and steer the ship in time for Sunderland, may has well have waited till after that game, if we win he stays and you realise your stupid decision was about to be a terrible one or if we lose, make you're stupid decision then and give whatever new manager coming in a couple of weeks to get the team working on the new plan.
I’ve never wanted him out before and would’ve given him till Christmas after the two wins. Just making the point it’s not quite the travesty you’re making it out to be.
If the press release is to be believed, they want a Head Coach reporting to the Performance Director, not a new manager. It might not be down to whoever that is to decide their backroom staff. If they can't work with Dr Roberts, they won't take the job.
The football community as a whole thinks it is a mistake. Not seen one person not connected with the club thinking it’s a good idea at this time.Well most supporters are very unhappy with the news today , I understand some fans aren't and they're massive edgelords .. but most of us appreciate what mark robins has given us and think he should have been given more time and are disappointed with the clubs ownership .
For many it's a travesty

That should tell Doug everything
Ok he's an impact manager than and nothing else. He's basically Iain Dowie.
That's much more respectful to his memory isn't it?
What DOF's at big clubs are experienced former managers?I don’t like the sound of that. I believe that a football manager should be in overall charge of all football-related activities of a club.
I don’t think there have been many instances where managers have performed particularly well under a Director of Football. At least in those cases the DOF is usually an experienced former manager to whom the manager can relate.
Dr Roberts may well have many fine qualities for all I know but she is not a football person and I suspect that, for that reason, most head coaches won’t be happy with having to report to her. I hope I’m wrong and that this structure turns out to be a masterstroke but I have my doubts.
MR has been sacked because our performances haven’t been good enough. Shouldn’t the Performance Director have borne some responsibility for that, the clue being in the job title?
You backed yourself into a corner with the stupid statement about Robins not having an impact, and have been talking utter shite ever since. And that’s that.
It’s luck if we got into the playoffs because a team got deducted points. We were incredibly lucky in the league 2 season to get promoted
