Can't see anything other than a bad loss here.
There are serious problems with this squad's balance and quality and Robin's going isn't going to solve that quickly.
But at least play players in position, Saka and MVE together, Wright out on the left and jds left back...

Who left back?

Not wishing us to lose by any stretch but feels very hard to feel motivated for this.

Whether we agree or not, we have to live with the decision now and move forward.

Going to be really interesting to see the players on-pitch reaction to events.

A very tough fixture, after losing to a poor Derby team and sacking MR., these players have hardly shown up this season. Going for a 2-1 win for us with Haji scoring the winner

No it's not just you Nick.
In fact I've only heard one person say they want us to lose.
If you think some of us are travelling 200 miles hoping we lose you've lost it.
Though win, lose or draw, I'll still think Kings a c**t.
This. We're doing the nigh on four hour each way journey too. Some have lost it on here.

How we go from the wolves performance and man united performance and Leicester and spurs to how we have played the majority of this season with the same set.of players bar 2 or 3 is baffling something gone very rotten very fast

I don't want us to lose tomorrow, but have written the game off.

I will be really, really surprised if we come out of this with anything other than a defeat.

Rhys Carr and his laptop?

I am thinking a 3-1 defeat.

Are we expecting the usual Friday prematch press conference? Will any of the players have the balls to face the press? Surely club won't be stupid enough to post any of the usual training pictures on social media today too...

Expecting the worst and hoping for the best. Unfortunately the match in some people’s eyes will be insignificant because of the last couple of days. A tonking may well be on the cards but in true Coventry City style I’m expecting us to win! 😁

oh right.. how close are we to playing at St Andrews and having a fire sale of the entire squad?

we’ve sacked a manager it happens - could quite easy go the other way round. You’re not gonna be one of these people going mad if we start shooting up the table are you?
Of course I'm not and yes you are absolutely right, we could go Luton and fly up the table. We have the players to do that and if that happens you have to give Doug massive respect for making the big call. That's a real possibility here.

But our fans get angry quick and let's be honest 90% of them are against the sacking. You can already see people turning on Doug, the staff, the players, each other. It could be a difficult atmosphere to play in if an unpopular appointment is made/if results don't go the right way and we end up in a proper relegation battle.

People forget that Sisu spent a little money before it all went wrong. Temporally it wasn't long ago our gates were much smaller, if the fans stop believing, if Doug loses interest, if the players heads drop - the good times might be over.

Hoping we lose the next few makes no sense whatsoever. And takes up until what, early December?
im saying i would rather lose a few now to force King into a decision yes...

Watching Carr pick up the odd result (which is exactly what we've done all season) and still be in charge post Christmas, would you want that? I dont want King to think thats an option

Carr could win all his games and he wouldn’t be in charge.

wanting us to lose games when we are already near the relegation zone is idiocy

Im pretty sure there’s the international break after Sunderland. I expect us to have brought in a replacement before the end of next week.

It isn't going to be an option?;

With how we played on Tuesday and Sunderland if not winning are drawing games, it will be a difficult game no matter under what circumstances. Hoping not but think our recent form against them will break tomorrow.

All of the short term emotion aside turning on King and possibly the staff surely can't be a bright move.

Will Simms suddenly be fit following his phantom injury?

Will Dasilva be elevated to first choice LB,

Will Collins actually get some minutes?

Will Raphael ever get a run out for the u21's

Will we ever keep a clean sheet?

So.many questions to answer in the coming weeks now we have a change at the top.

Based on the comments, I expect Simms will be back.

There’s a lot of people here who really care about the Club, and I’ve been asked to take the game tomorrow, and I will do that to the best of my ability and that’s how everyone he is approaching it from the people in the kitchen, the coaches, the analysts and sport science.

Rhys has got the kitchen staff fired up.

Announce promotion. EIEIEIO!

I've got no stomach for this one. I hope Simms is back as we really needed him against Derby.

3-4-1-2

Dovin,
Bobby, Lati Binks
vEwik, Eccles, Sheaf, da Silva
Torp (God knows how much I would have liked to be putting 'James' there)
Simms Haji
