If as some have suggested, some players had downed tools, it could be very telling who gets picked tomorrow.
Simms doesn't come across as a difficult individual
I'd have just said laid backId agree. He comes across as not knowing what day of the week it is let alone kicking off
I went to the Coundon meet the players with him and Eccles last year and it was pretty informative. He's clearly very introverted and shySimms doesn't come across as a difficult individual
Very interested to see if Simms starts.
Also Simms in his last game before his injury ran his arse for 90 and was brilliantThere is absolutely zero chance mark robins has been leaving simms out the squad for no reason.
Why do fans think this way
Its a shame that many defenders think that tooSimms doesn't come across as a difficult individual
Downing tools earning thousand of pounds a week whilst working in one of of most desirable careers on the planetIf as some have suggested, some players had downed tools, it could be very telling who gets picked tomorrow.
If there is a disciplinary reason then that wouldn’t be leaving him out of the squad for no reason? There is absolutely zero chance mark robins has been leaving simms out the squad for no reason.

There were murmuring on social media yesterday morning, prior to Robins being sacked, that Simms wasn’t injured and had been dropped for non-footballing reasons. I don’t personally believe it based on Simms character but I did think Robins answers on him were a bit odd both post Middlesbrough and Derby. Add onto that that ITKs on here originally said Simms was ill prior to kick off vs Middlesbrough and there is reason to raise a slight eyebrow.
My guess would be Kitching and Collins with maybe a bit of Norman in thereCouple of players who have been rumoured to have downed tools / wanted Robins out. Can't imagine Simms is one given his last game he worked his arse off.
Doesn't seem the type to be causing Robins a disciplinary headache but you never know.
The problem with these rumours is if people get it in their heads that certain players have played a role in getting Robins fired I can pretty easily see them getting on the individual players backs.
Not sure how you get round that as obviously the club can't go down the route of confirming or denying every rumour of this type.
He’s in good company on here thenId agree. He comes across as not knowing what day of the week it is let alone kicking off
If a 19 yo, who's been here 5 minutes, is downing tools, then Dean Austin should be picking up his P45 before Robins. My guess would be Kitching and Collins with maybe a bit of Norman in there
How about not guessing when there’s no evidence whatsoever? My guess would be Kitching and Collins with maybe a bit of Norman in there
Nope. He comes across someone who needs a big shake and a bit of a cuddleSimms doesn't come across as a difficult individual
In the second part of CoventryLive’s in-depth interview with Dr Roberts, she explains: “At the moment I am working really closely with Dean (Austin) and the recruitment team to make sure that the people we are thinking of signing have got the right sort of character profile; the right psychological profile to fit into our existing team.If a 19 yo, who's been here 5 minutes, is downing tools, then Dean Austin should be picking up his P45 before Robins.
I think he comes across as a lovely guy. Too nice possibly.Id agree. He comes across as not knowing what day of the week it is let alone kicking off
What a load of bollocks. A total job justification if ever there was oneIn the second part of CoventryLive’s in-depth interview with Dr Roberts, she explains: “At the moment I am working really closely with Dean (Austin) and the recruitment team to make sure that the people we are thinking of signing have got the right sort of character profile; the right psychological profile to fit into our existing team.
“And secondly, to make sure that we have got decent human beings in the squad that are going to want to develop and play, and don’t have an ego. People who are going to respond well to coaching and be able to meet the psychological demands of the game.
“We can do all the fitness testing and medical testing in the world. Everyone does that and there’s nothing different in what we do from the physical assessment side of things, but we are looking at how we measure character and how we select players on the basis of their psychological profile that’s going to enable us to get the best out of them. So that’s one element of my role.”
She added: “My background is in psychology, and the team dynamic of Coventry City is one of the most important things for us. We want to make sure that those individuals gel and are cohesive, want to support and play for each other and are able to build, foster and sustain really strong relationships not just with each other but with the performance staff and coaching team as well.
“So in terms of my expertise, I want to make sure I bring that to help our player selection, so I am working really closely with Dean and his team to make sure we understand as much as possible about the players that we are bringing in.”
You will be accused of misogyny. What a load of bollocks. A total job justification if ever there was one
Some people genuinely believe Simms put his best performance of the season in, got a goal and then decided to go on strike. It's madness. Also Simms in his last game before his injury ran his arse for 90 and was brilliant

Why such hatred? It's his character and being laid back is a quality for young strikers. He will play in PL again.Id agree. He comes across as not knowing what day of the week it is let alone kicking off
