NEW CHANT (13 Viewers)

Nick, football supporters up and down the country can’t believe what we have done.
Fans who have no interest in Coventry whatsoever ,think we have treated our manager in a disgusting manner.
I can’t remember other football fans reacting to a club sacking a manager like this before.
The press, the media almost everyone thinks it’s wrong. There has been an unprecedented reaction across the football community to this action.
Time will tell if King knows what he is doing, I personally think he is clueless and has made the biggest mistake ever.
Just my opinion.

Genuine question, what about it is in a disgusting manner?

The whole "Football Community" thing is nonsense, next week it will be the "Football Community" on about something else that's trending.

Personally, I think the chant should be:

‘There’s only one Mark Robins’

So that the players, the coaches and Doug know that what he meant to our club.
Actions as well as words - Remember when McGinnity sacked Eric Black in favour of Peter Reid and a fans campaign was started for us to show support and wear something black at the next home game?
Well for the next home game we should all go dressed as er, erm

Not something was engineered for MR demise? Getting rid go Laurence then Vivash sounds like a pretty good plan to disturb the balance.
That isn’t the conspiracy if there is one. Lawrence got a promotion, better wages and closer to home. AV more than likely got sacked for gross misconduct.

As for Robins, the results haven’t been good enough for about 20-30 games.

There’s too much emotive (and paranoid) POVs being banded about on here. Robins is a legend and I’ll never forget his service, it is a possibility that he was ‘done’ and our near religious devotion to Robins blinded us to that.

This season we’ve been inconsistent and the performances not where they should be and at times it’s looked stale.

The word ‘disgusting’ is emotive, but what he’s getting at is that Robins turned around every single bad situation before, and delivered in a big way, and this time he’s shown the door despite having that track record of overcoming bad starts and having good seasons.

Which then ultimately leads to the view that- whether he approved it all or not- ‘his way of doing things’ was removed- all these coaches, Viveash, Ramsey, no loans etc, and what seems to be obvious now is that he couldn’t deliver working under the structure he was presented with.. so yeah, you can see why some people would hold the view he was treated shabbily.

Please stop spreading speculative theories about AV without knowing what actually happened. Say something often enough even with a "more than likely" disclaimer and it gets picked up and repeated. Unless you know for certain then explain.

Woke up this morning feeling fine,
I've got Doug King on my mind,
He sacked Robins like he wanted to do,
Something tells me next season I won't renewwwwww

Fuck off

The fact is the decision was taken when we didn’t offer Lawrence and Hamer the money they wanted. It’s been a slow bleeding out since King came in.

No wonder you get taken in by the politicians you prefer. You literally believe any made up nonsense that you want to.

None of them will have seen our games this season, or the collapse last season up close. I don't know how I feel about it really but I know there are a lot of signs that it wasn't working.

DK and co. will either have made a brave decision or f*cked it. I'm not usually a fan of claiming there's no in between but with the stakes this high, I do get that this is one of those situations.
