Think robins was loved by nearly everyone. Even those that wanted him out by end probably did with a heavy heartDoubt its with as much relish as some had chasing the old one.

I wouldn’t be so dismissive of Lampard. He was on a good thing at Derby but jumped ship too early to the Prem. The Chelsea job was too big for him at the time. Also Everton is always a shit show. Not saying I want him as first choice but he’s not the worst one on that betting list.
I have a short list of 4Yeah that's all well and sound Deity, but who do you want as the next manager
Well you would have thought loans would help in that scenario, but King seems to be against loans. Not sure how good he is but if we are allowed to loan players then his Chelsea connections could be useful as they seem to have about a billion players.
I have a short list of 4
Corberan ( knows the league, attention to detail second to none )
Bielsa ( because it would be amazing to watch )
Carsley ( a progressive high quality coach )
Allardyce ( wild card …. Not the dinosaur lazy fans think and would Instill winning discipline )
I don’t know European leagues well enough to suggest managers from other countries …
He’d get the sack for looking at players in an aggressive manner.Michael Doyle anyone, doing a good job at Woking?
Realistically only carsley is achievable there , and with the crop of players we have allardyce doesn't know how to play the style of football these lads are best playing plus he's 70 years old
The players sacked him, Doug just made it official.Would Robins come back if Doug went crawling on his hands and knees?
But, but he's one of our own.Alladyce may not be the dinosaur some think he is, (he was an early adapter of sports science), but his football would make your eyes bleed.
A resounding no from me.
I wouldn’t actually do it, although I may have to post some dog shit through his door, if he came to us. With ruthless consistency.Had to that; I hope you will agree that you earned it.

Hilarious how you were so staunch Robins out but have settled that lampard isn’t too bad.I wouldn’t be so dismissive of Lampard. He was on a good thing at Derby but jumped ship too early to the Prem. I hear you Clint.Alladyce may not be the dinosaur some think he is, (he was an early adapter of sports science), but his football would make your eyes bleed.

I don't want Lampard but to be fair to him he has a playoff final appearance and a top 4 finish in the prem on his CV.Hilarious how you were so staunch Robins out but have settled that lampard isn’t too bad.
robins to Lampard would be a step down of epic proportions
Where did he say that ?The players sacked him, Doug just made it official.
aye, he's progressive everywhere but on the pitchAlladyce may not be the dinosaur some think he is, (he was an early adapter of sports science), but his football would make your eyes bleed.

Top 4 finish in the prem with a ridiculous squad he underperformed with.I don't want Lampard but to be fair to him he has a playoff final appearance and a top 4 finish in the prem on his CV.

Ridiculous squad? They were under a transfer ban and lost Hazard that summer.Top 4 finish in the prem with a ridiculous squad he underperformed with.
he’s utter shite
This is one of those instances where I’ve either missed the sarcasm, or it is actually true. The players sacked him, Doug just made it official.
I quite like Lampard - which is why I would counsel him not to take the job. If he gets it I will support him but I fear Lampard is to Robins what Rooney was to Eustace.Hilarious how you were so staunch Robins out but have settled that lampard isn’t too bad.
robins to Lampard would be a step down of epic proportions
Anyone who can reach the playoff final with Waghorn up top is a footballing geniusThis was lampards derby team View attachment 39283
We've tried the high profile ex-player a few times; Really, Butcher, Strachan, it ultimately ends in tears. I don't want to end up like Watford who change their manager multiple times a season. Lampard would be a poor choice in ny opinion as would Carsley.
And Robbie Keane. Fuck me. Clueless.
I'd rather have the Wycombe guy or even Wagner or Selles over any of those.
Sound's a Bit sloppy that, reminds me of home when we had a puppy.I wouldn’t actually do it, although I may have to post some dog shit through his door, if he came to us. With ruthless consistency.
It was a ridiculous squad. He then went and spent £220m the following summer and got sacked. He is shite and would be an embarrassing appointment. We go on we have a squad of prima donnas, well lampard man management was that bad he had to have Cech act as an intermediary between him and some of his squadRidiculous squad? They were under a transfer ban and lost Hazard that summer.

Lampard speaks about the game very well , however in the playoff final he never played a proper striker until 20 minutes to go when they were 2-0 downI quite like Lampard - which is why I would counsel him not to take the job. If he gets it I will support him but I fear Lampard is to Robins what Rooney was to Eustace.
He’s been a failure everywhere he’s beenI’m saying he isn’t as bad as people make out to be. Not saying I want him as first choice.
Waghorn was past his best at city and really had a pretty solid careerAnyone who can reach the playoff final with Waghorn up top is a footballing genius
We have a squad of prima donnas? According to who, the fantasy stories so called itk's ego post on the forum? It was a ridiculous squad.
