And you were rude to him thenyou seem to have missed the point where I say someone pointed it out to me yesterday
Not Lampard in by any means but by the time he joined Everton the rot had well and truly set in.Those Chelsea and Everton sides cost astronomical amounts, (I'm fairly sure the Derby one did by Championship standards), and he did fuck all with them.
Rooney may be useless, but seeing cutting about resembling a functioning alcoholic ground worker always puts,a smile on my face so at least I'd have that

Long live the Baron of CoombeHe is stopping at Coombe abbey tonight.
Frank Lampard is a Tory dickhead. Fuck off.
Did well at Derby, managed Chelsea to a top 4 position whilst under a transfer embargo bringing through Mount, James and Gallagher. And kept Everton up in 2022.wtf makes anyone think Lampard is a good idea!

Listen to Simon Jordan talking about the links to Roma.Did well at Derby, managed Chelsea to a top 4 position whilst under a transfer embargo bringing through Mount, James and Gallagher. And kept Everton up in 2022.
would instantly command respect from our players given his reputation and status within the game.
Hes been linked with high profile jobs such as Roma and Rangers this summer - so would suggest his standing within the game is pretty decent. He isn’t my first choice but he isn’t as bad as some make out.

Might listen out for the hum of rotor blades tomorrow then!He is stopping at Coombe abbey tonight.
I wanted Mark Robins to stay for the exact reason we are going on about now where nobody can come up with a decent alternative that isn’t totally unrealistic (e.g. potter/Moyes), a complete failure (e.g. Lampard, Carsley) or completely unproven (e.g. Bloomfield, Sheehan)Who do you want as manager?
Also co-won the CL!! Without navigating group stage tichel can't finish the jobBut what makes him a bad idea? This isn’t a Wayne Rooney appointment. The guy has reached play off final, top 4 in the prem, fa cup final, champions league, saved Everton from relegation?
I hope this is not ITK.Lampard in. Delaney and Dempster out.
Get behind him.
It’s the profile of team we were playing. We’ve just not been able to break down defensively disciplined teams for a while now. It was there to see last season and continued this one.It was really baffling that after two fabulous wins, we suddenly couldn't even string two passes together and seemed very flat
Was expecting us to come out buzzing
Great. After 7 years of stability and some success, we are going for a punt?Lampard’s odds have massively shortened this evening
Tbh out of all the names mentioned I’m leaning to taking a punt on him
He fell out with the recruitment director and half the squad.Interestingly - Lampard fell out with the recruitment director at Chelsea - Marina Granovskaia
but looking into him - he’s used to working within a similar structure we operate and is a big supporter of the data driven ways
he’s brought through a fair few youngsters aswell
I can’t remember getting too excited when robins came in,for the 1st or 2nd time, def changed thatI wanted Mark Robins to stay for the exact reason we are going on about now where nobody can come up with a decent alternative that isn’t totally unrealistic (e.g. potter/Moyes), a complete failure (e.g. Lampard, Carsley) or completely unproven (e.g. Bloomfield, Sheehan)
I don’t agree, not after the performance against Middlesborough and Luton.I left on Wednesday with the distinct impression the players didn't want to play for Mark Robins anymore.
Difference is I think Lampard’s rep can carry us over medium term.He fell out with the recruitment director and half the squad.
Who did you want the 2nd time then? I was desperate for Robins to come back, sometimes a manager and a club just work.I can’t remember getting too excited when robins came in,for the 1st or 2nd time, def changed that
I was excited the 2nd time. His first time with us was a success.I can’t remember getting too excited when robins came in,for the 1st or 2nd time, def changed that
Yeah - bizarre weekend that was, Slade was sacked Sunday afternoon and I’m sure we announced Robins later on that nightI was excited the 2nd time. His first time with us was a success.
He would certainly command respect in the dressing room but I have concerns about him walking into something that needs a great deal of care to put right.Interestingly - Lampard fell out with the recruitment director at Chelsea - Marina Granovskaia

2bh if he does well enough to jump ship to a prem team, I’m certain we’ll be happy with our seasonI really don't want Lampard, he'll be gone withing 12 months, either from being shit or from doing well and jumping ship when a premier league club comes calling
I would not trust him with transfers. He spent £220m on a load of flops at Chelsea.I really don't want Lampard, he'll be gone withing 12 months, either from being shit or from doing well and jumping ship when a premier league club comes calling
