I have concerns but he’s more appealing than some of the other names mentioned and should (if he’s allowed), bring in some decent loans.

He needs to be given a chance rather than being written off from the start though.
It'd be churlish to write almost anyone off without giving them a chance tbh.

Who cares though? That doesn't get us 3 points.

It was a point being made to another poster about us not being a good side under Robins..

What it did get us though nick was much success mate , probably won't see anywhere near as much again for a long time , I'm sure we can look forward to some epic subs though

If it is Lampard irrelevant what we think we have to back him

It's not his fault Dougs a c**t

It's not his fault he's following the greatest manager in our history

It's not his fault he's a 'name' due to his phenomenal career

Wouldn't be my choice, but we have to back him otherwise we could very easily find ourselves in L1 next season

He would then flee the ship along with most of the twats on the pitch

"Best away fans this season, good luck for the season"

After we have just lost

The league positions prove we've been a good side .. not your opinion

The new gaffa has a massive job on to do better

Frank lampard has the 2nd worst win ratio in Everton history , dyche who I believe hasnt done a good job either has 6% better

He might have been but I think overall some world class managers have struggled there let alone Lampard.
My mates an Evertonian and said even though they were struggling he did go with mostly well wishes (from a notoriously difficult fanbase to please) and any manager would struggle with the way Everton have been ran since Moyes left

Brought into the culture of the club and tried his hardest and did galvanize them to keep them up after inheriting a shambles from Benitez, said they have obviously had better but also miles worse down there as well

The fans will probably respond to a Lampard much better than some no name coach. Even if said coach might be the better long term option.

Doug's just created a massive issue for the successor when he really didn't have to.

One of those managers who's a manager purely because he was a good player, and isn't in work because he's a bad manager.

Would be pissed off with this.

I've voted no as I don't believe he'd deliver long term success.

However, I do think the academy would improve and also our stature in the footballing world. We'd probably be one of Sky's golden clubs being "Frank Lamaprd's Coventry City" so that can only help fill our coffers which is what's most important in today's game.

As much as I loved MR being with us, he wasn't a name that attracted media attention simply because he wasn't that kind of man. Even most Man U "fans" likely didn't know who he was, as with most PL fans.

Overall, I think it'll be short term til maybe this time next year, but we'd get an initial boost and access to better loan players out there (even though DK doesn't like that model 🙃 which makes this appointment seem odd)

They are also a basket case in his 2nd spell. He picked up a mess from Graham Potter to just be interim until they found a new manager.
Even Potter had a near 40% ratio , lampard had 9

However we spin that at chelsea that's unreal how shit that is
