Will we play more direct football with Leon.

send it too him quick he holds it up whilst moussa, Sheff and Baker bomb up to Feed off him.

Or

Can he take part in the passing game we play like DMC did.

Or

Will we mix it up a bit between the both

All of the above. We will also see a lot more action on the right wing - playing up to 5 of the side it that area to really attack the left back.

Yes, I heard he battered us.
Safe to say Robins liked what he saw.
Interested to hear if the ball got to him via neat passing
Direct balls for him to hold up. Till he got support
Or hoofs.
Anyone who remembers let me me know if you don't mind.

He can play up top on his own and if you could hand pick a Mcgoldrick type that would be affordable he would of been my first pick... If we can get Don and Cody of our books and bring in Jose Baxter that would be a top bit of business...

From what I can remember Scunthorpe played 442 and his strike partner was equally effective in that match.
At the time I thought Clark would be an extremely good replacement for McG as he appeared similar in style and looked a dangerous goal threat throughout the match.
Also felt that Scunthorpe despite their lowly league position were one of the best sides to have graced the Ricoh this season.

I was watching the highlights of the scunny match earlier as a refresher. He has pace, and strength. He likes a through ball, and his runs are spot on. He'd be awful to mark, always moving. He anticipates play very well. I think he does more than his goal record reflects. He's an exciting capture.

Position, finishing, strength and runs for 90 minutes. He also wears gloves, like all good strikers ;).

Positioning, strength, pace anticipation, finishing... Someone's been playing too much football manager 2013 I'd say.

Gloves with short sleeves? If so, we are getting promoted

I don't think we'll play 2 upfront, we'll stick with 4-4-1-1. If McG stays, he'll stay, Clarke on the bench, if he goes, Clarke upfront on his own. IMO.

Merry Christmas everyone.

I remember Wood greeted him like a long lost friend when they did the handshake thing - they hugged - thats where the friendship ended. He gave Wood an absolutely torrid time. Looked the best centre forward we have played against at home, but we are not great at home most of the time. Thought we needed someone to give it back to Preston who were bullying us out of the game. Dont think anyone will bully Clarke. Looked big and bad and knows where the goal is. Perfect for this division.
